Picked up a Frankenstein recently. I've noticed the pop bumpers seem sluggish.

I haven't done a shop job on the pin just yet. Would going to a larger coil size help? I'm used to the way Williams pop bumpers play.

I tend to go a bit overboard on my shop jobs. My typical shop job is usually 120+ hours. Needless to say, all coils assemblies will be meticulously rebuilt, new sleeves on everything, switches cleaned/replaced, re-gapped.

This Frankenstein has some potential. Just haven't dove into it yet.

Quoted from tjprice222:

I thought the same thing when I picked up my Jurassic Park. Two of the metal rings/rods were bent pretty badly so I replaced those but the real improvement came when I replace the DE plastic spoons with Williams spoons. Now the ball spends all day in those pops! Good luck!

do the Williams spoons need any modifications?
