I am trying to take apart a jurassic lost wold deluxe vid cabinet and it has unique screws I can't take out. They are a star with a bunch of points on it, which I do have bits for, but then there is a metal shaft coming up through the centre of the screw so I can't take them off. Does anyone have any tricks or suggestions to take these off?

Thanks in advance

Sounds like security torx heads to me. You'll need a special set of bits to get them out like these...

Yeah that's them exactly. Is there another way to get them out? I just don't want to wait for the mail.
