Hi guys

Have a large Sega DMD here - from cold the display can take 30 sec+ to appear. Then it is fine. Switching off and powering back on after short time it will remain fine.

Is this simply aging / outgassing ? Or something fixable

Most likely outgassing. These DMDs produce their own high voltage power from the game's 18VDC power supply.
