Sega, 1995Have been trying to troubleshoot my BF dmd but got a color dmd in addition. If I bench test the dmd controller (large 192x64), could it damage the color dmd in anyway if it has a problem? Does it just send low voltage data to the dmd? All I know is the original dmd and controller don’t work together out of game.
I would just install the ColorDMD and put the DMD controller back into the game. I don't see what you would gain trying to do a test on a bench, if you can get it set up.

Well the game is in a million pieces as it sits right now hahaha.
