I have X Files, Lost in Space and Mary Shelly Frankenstein. I'm a big fan of Sega's, best bang for the buck in pinball. Great themes, toys and game play. Not always the best rules but a hell of a value for the money.

I put the same pinball life coils on my x files. Talk about flipper power. Turns it into a incredibly fast game. They will be going on my MSF very soon.
I am curious what side rails you have on Frank.
I finally got around to putting pinball life gnr no-fadecoils on MSF today. As previously posted, they are awesome. Well worth the money and time.
They are stronger flipper coils. With the stock coils I had far too many balls go halfway up the ramp and come flying back down. Now it's easier to make the ramp shot. And during longer games the flippers dont lose any power.
Quoted from billsfanmd:Looking at a twister. Magnet does not work. Major headache? What can I check to troubleshoot ?
Thx
The magnet board is a huge pain in the butt. From what I have read they are tough to get working and if you want a replacement they are almost impossible to find because they only used it on 2 games. The used ones I have seen are over $300.
While the board is typically the issue, it could be the magnet. Is it the one listed on FB for $2300, magnet board doesn't work and there is wear on the spinning disk?
Quoted from DropTarget:And the ball shooter keeps partially firing, even when the ball is already launched. (it was doing that before changing the switch)
any thoughts?
Sounds like the trough opto boards are not aligned correctly, or they are loose. There is a test in the menu system to empty the ball trough. If it works successfully then the optos are working and its probably an alignment issue. It happened on mine and it turned out to be that the opto board connectors were a little loose which caused them to fire repeatedly.
The shortened Frankenstein word at power up is completely normal. My MSF did it and so did my DE Star Trek.
