I love Sega games, own a bunch of them. I’m playing a ton of JPTLW. I’m having a hell of a time getting to San Diego. Love the game!

There is now color for that game. https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/colordmd-game-70-the-lost-world-jurassic-park-video-preview#post-4184654

A question for Godzilla owners, I haven't had mine long but I have worked out to get on the 5 multiballs list you have to achieve all 5 at the same time but how do you become king of the monsters?

That's how. It has to be natural too. You can't only have four running and start the fifth in multiball. You have to have all five qualified before starting.

Ok, thanks. I am confused though (it doesn't take much ) as I did have all 5 on one ball and had to enter initials for 5-multiball champ but king of the monsters is still the default initials. Does that make sense?

Humm.. I'm on King Of Monsters on mine, and the only thing special I did was to get all 5 multi's qualified, and started at once. I even played a really horrible multiball, so it's not like I got some wicked crazy score that did it. Interesting. I'm on multiball champ too, but it's when I managed to get 3 qualified, and two more started during the multiball. (I usually try to get baby, helicopter and Sonar qualified before I worry about taxi and Godzilla. Taxi is easy to add during a multiball, and i'll generally get Gozilla one ramp shot away.

I have joined the SEGA club and couldn't be happier. This game is awesome. And this one is super minty. When I bought it the owner said the display stopped working a few months ago. When I got it home and turned it on for the first time, the display fired right up. I did the service bulletin 106 on it and haven't had a minutes trouble.

Awesome! So much to do in baywatch. Make sure you get the new Chadh code. Defiantly worth it.

Hey Fabio, you're about 2 days late with that news

Jokes apart, nice SEGA collection.... would you be willing to part ways with your Godzilla and/or LiS and/or JPLW?

Nice score, Baywatch is more fun than I ever thought it would be. I got a msf on the cheap once because the guy said the display was bad but it was not like yours.

Couple things, those aren't green eyes up there, its 2 green pixels and it looks terrible.
I just opened the genesis rom of sonic, and his eyes are all black in everything , spriter-resource has the same sprite data
https://www.spriters-resource.com/game_boy_advance/sonicthehedgehoggenesis/sheet/8892/
despite the URL, those are the genesis sprites, GBA sprites are close but larger.

Sonic didn't get green eyes until Sonic Adventure, which came out 7 years after Sonic 1

Hooray I'm in the club. I just picked up my first Sega this weekend, X-Files. I hadn't even played it before, but I got such a good deal on it that I took a chance. Man what a pleasant surprise. To me, it's a great game. I've been playing the heck out of it, while I work on restoring the typical issues, cracked file cabinet, magnet wear and bad paint. I ordered up some J-D Weld from Amazon to fill in the magnet wear hole, the X-Files Game Blades from Tilt Graphics and the replacement file cabinet from Back Alley Creations.

I never thought much about Sega games, but I have to say there's tremendous value on the list of games that they've made. I'd totally buy a Jurassic Park, Star Wars Trilogy, Maverick, Starship Troopers, Apollo 13, Baywatch, Batman Forever or Godzilla. Great bang for the buck. I'd probably buy a Jurassic Park right now if I knew of a local one.

Anyhow, just wanted to say Hi.

I didn't think this is what the game was known for.... Exactly the opposite, in fact........

#220 6 years ago

Sorry, I meant the ramps!

#221 6 years ago

These SEGA games are very well known for their tight ramps... ID4 is a bitch as well and I also absolutely love it!

Just found this club, love my LWJP super underrated game, she is tough though.

That's what we paid for ours.
Granted it was back in 2014.
Most current seller's are trying to push the price into the 26,7,800 range and even some asking 3000 or better.

Ok cool! Thanks!

Any specific wear on a BF or issues I should look for when looking at one? I was told to check the clear green ramps for cracks as they are not remanufactured.

Make sure to look at the flipper button area as BF seems to be somewhat susceptible to wear.
Also check the back of the right ramp. Some I have seen have been broken clear through because the back of the ramp catches the back of the cabinet as you lift up the playfield. The one we have had been broken and was repaired.
Make sure the ball release out of the batcave is functioning properly. Balls get stuck in some.
VERY frustrating when this happens.
Hope 'ya land one.
We love ours. Really fun.

Thanks brother! The latest batch include Baywatch and Goldeneye complete plastic sets, and these repros look awesome. Can be shipped worlwide, but please bear in mind that insured/tracked/registered shipping from Rio/Brazil ain't cheap. Paypal and pinside fees don't help either.

Looking at a twister. Magnet does not work. Major headache? What can I check to troubleshoot ?

Thx

I really believe Bayeatch is one of the most underrated games out there. The theme turned people off, but the gameplay is awesome! It gets the most play in my arcade.

The magnet board is a huge pain in the butt. From what I have read they are tough to get working and if you want a replacement they are almost impossible to find because they only used it on 2 games. The used ones I have seen are over $300.

so if magnet does not work, most likely the new board will fix it? Anyhting else it could be....Just trying to think of a fair price to offer...

#245 6 years ago

While the board is typically the issue, it could be the magnet. Is it the one listed on FB for $2300, magnet board doesn't work and there is wear on the spinning disk?

I picked up a Twister in a package deal recently and man the air balls were CRAZY! Even with the back legs cranked up it seemed nearly every missed shot launched a flying air ball.

Today I replaced the flipper coils with a pair of used 23-900 coils I had in my parts box. Night and day difference! Sure, can still get an airball once in a while, like a direct hit off the drop target. But the game is totally playable now where before it was a shitfest of airballs constantly.
