I'm assuming driver board issue but looking for second opinion on what to look at. After my Baywatch has been on for 30-45 minutes the plunger coil starts to fire. This happens even if the game is not being played. Thoughts?

When I play the game it works correctly. Honestly, since the coil fires even when the pin is not being used I figured it had to be something else. I'll take a closed look at it.

The game will compensate without it, but if it was randomly closing when it shouldn't I could imagine it causing this. Not the most likely but just what came to mind. Sega/DE's switch compensation is not the best
After more review the Vertical Up Kicker fires twice followed by the ball shooter once.. Always in a series of three coil fires. Any thoughts?
Ball jam opto or trough opto is probably dirty or has a cold solder joint.try cleaning / realigning it or reflowing solder as necessary. The "clear ball trough" function in the diags menu is very helpful as it shows the position of every switch in the trough as well as the shooter lane. The shooter lane switch and I assume the ball jam will cause the auto plunge to fire to get the balls back in the trough.
