A family member saw one when they were a kid. It hovered very low and overshadowed the entire house across the corner. This was in the 70's. It made absolutely no sound, and the TV in the living room stopped working. After a few short moments the UFO shot off fast in one direction and disappeared, and the TV started working again.
I was driving at night through the middle of the desert in Nevada when the whole desert lit up green. They say it was a meteor, but I like to think it's another cover up and they are out there.

Knowing where you live, I actually believe that.
When I was young kid about 30 yrs ago, we had a green and red flashing football shaped disc that hovered over the mountain ridge behind our house for several nights one summer. My dad and I watched it very night for hours. The final night it lifted straight up and shot off into the night sky, never saw it again. We're in central PA.
