I was scouting a Laguna Beach that was for sale near me. The Craigslist ad showed a very clean and original backglass, with just a little ink loss (scrape marks) in mostly solid blue areas that could be touched up pretty easily. The seller sent me additional photos to answer a few questions I asked, and one was of a backglass that looked far different than the Craigslist ad. It turned out that the original photos were taken a year ago, when the owner parked the game in his garage. He is a nice guy who is not a pinball collector at all, and he had no idea the glass was fading out. Check out the before and after shots. The after photo is last. The reds are completely gone, but also look at the clouds above the water. I always knew UV was dangerous, but I didn't realize how fast it could do its dirty work.
