Looking for about $3300 CAD which is about $2500 USD

This is Data East’s second game. Joe Kaminkow the designer “borrowed” some ideas from Steve Ritchie’s game High Speed at Williams at the time. Take a look at both playfields and you will see they are very much alike! This is a good thing as High Speed was a big hit and sold over 17000 units!

I have been through this machine inside and out, top to bottom. The end result is that it looks and plays great! Here is what has been done:

Stripped and cleaned the playfield
Installed all new rubber and colored Cliffy posts
Cleaned inside the cabinet
Polished the chrome legs (they came out nice)
Removed the topper and changed all bulbs
New pinscore LED display (about $350)
Installed Comet LED’d in all inserts, general illumination in the playfield and backbox (there are about 170 bulbs on this machine) I also LED’d some select flasher bulbs as well.
New shooter rod with red knob (new barrel and shooter springs as well)
New leg levelers and leg bolts
New spinners and spinner decals
New updated game roms
NVRAM installed and battery back removed (never worry about batteries again).
New pinballs
New pop bumper skirts and bodies
Flippers rebuilt

I spent a LOT of time dialing in this machine. For example the up post was disassembled and rebuilt. I also had to do the same for the “ball eater” mech. Getting the ball to plunge from the shooter lane all the way to the top of the left ramp took much many adjustments but got I finally got it working great. I addressed several service bulletins that were put out by Data East back in the day. I replaced a few coils. I also replaced a couple transistors on the CPU.

Cabinet, translite, speaker panel and topper are all in excellent condition.
Playfield, plastics and building moulds are all in excellent condition. There is one broken plastic on the top left corner behind the ramp. Target decals are all original and in nice condition. I’m sure there is more that I am forgetting.

Was your triangular piece for your up post intact? Mine is all chipped and renders it inoperable. Apparently it is unobtainium, as no one makes it that I can find. Love my SS, even with the post disabled...

Nice looking game - plastics nice too! GLWS

Yes it was. I thought I seen (maybe in the SS fan club thread) that someone was 3D printing them?

Thanks! It was a nice palate to work with!
