You just summed up how I feel about Dialed In (and Funhouse) and why it only lasted a few weeks in my collection as opposed to Metallica which has been there for a few years. Technically there is no argument - Dialed In is almost perfect. But there is absolutely no emotional hook to either of those games. There is more emotion in electrocuting Sparky whilst listening to Metallica, than in the whole of DI and FH combined.
Emotion plays a huge part in what makes a bash toy great. And plays a huge part in great games.
Just my opinion of course.
