Seawitch
Stern Electronics, 1980I picked up a Seawitch a while back and got it all up and running nicely...except for a nagging problem with the slingshots. I've noticed for months now that the slingshots occasionally will kick 2 or 3 times when the ball activates them. I've tried gapping the slingshot switches further apart, but the problem persists. They also seem a bit unresponsive, or sluggish sometimes. I've been suspecting the 2 problems may be related, but I'm not sure. Any suggestions what to check?

The slingshot switches have an extra "stiffening" leaf that's a little beefy. Make sure that's supporting the leaf that rests against it. Also adjust the rubbers by giving the
section against the switches more slack. Kind of pull the rubber from the back of the sling and bring it to the front
