My buddy has a Guardians of the Galaxy where the screen is flickering very badly.
Everything else seems to work.

Try resetting the cables on the monitor and board.

That's a pretty tall order. I'll see what I can do.

Unplug the speaker lights and see if it still does it.
I had the same issue on the same game with the same lights but to be honest I'm not sure what I did to make it go away, I think it still does it occasionally.
Make sure the ground straps are on the correct side of the lcd panel too.

I'll have him try it.
Everything was working fine, until it was moved.

Wow, that's off more than on. Does it stay on if you go into settings, what about during bootup?

Sounds like something broke loose from the mo

The screen stays on in settings. and is on on start up.

So it only happen in attract mode and gameplay?

I'd start by disabling fast boot in the settings and if that doesn't do it I'd burn a new SD card and try that. If it stays on in boot-up and in settings is pretty much has to be programming / communications based.

New SD installed and still same issue. Screen is fine during boot up and in settings. When credit button is depressed, screen comes on fine and says, "Free Play", until the button is released.

That free play screen does not look right at all and the service menu looks weird too unless that's just the camera having issues capturing the LCD? Can you post video of it in attract mode and did you disable fast boot in the settings?
