Have a WPC DCS sound board that is scratchy. It was in a Demolition Man, i swaped ribbon cable, no change.
I then put it in a Judge Dredd (with Demo Man ROMs) - still scratchy.
I then installed the JD ROMs in it, still in Judge Dredd - still scratchy.
So the issue is definetly on the board - i replaced the 2 1uf caps (c32 C41) - still scratchy.
Given i swapped ROMs, all these have been reseated. What would anyone suggest be the next components i look at replacing?
