Maybe I will at some point. I think though that I'd have more intelligent things to say if I was able to play Weird Al or Final Resistance first. My P3 experience is admittedly dated. See what I can manage.

Great interview and I enjoyed Scott's insights and explanations. Loved the brief intro and jumping right in.
Quoted from Shaker:ORDER NUMBER: 3060
Yours???
Mine is through a distributor. No idea yet.
Quoted from Rdoyle1978:Ordered! #3108 I was a little slow, nature called at just the wrong time LOL
Wow, if we make the assumption those order #s are all for the game, they've already sold 60 out of the gate. Where's the wall/scoop upgrade kit guys!
Quoted from Shaker:ORDER NUMBER: 3060
Yours???
BTW: I ordered the Artwork Yesterday Evening. My Artwork order was Order 2998. So I guess there is a max of 60 module orders ahead of me.
Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:Ordered! 3077 module only in at 900:52
I'm right between you guys with 3078
Quoted from kevinclement:Order 3079 for module
Boy, I feel sorry for all the P3 owners who can't yet order because they work for a living!
It's good being old and retired...
Quoted from Oneangrymo:yeah my p3 machine was order 2111 back in 2021
Module today is order 3091
Are you sure 2111 was not in summer 2022?
We may be crossing the streams between 2 different sequences of order numbers.
The base unit requires an e-mail, not an online order.

Quoted from MrMikeman:Damn it. At work and had to place my order through my iPhone. Slowed me down. Order 3071
Ordered the artwork about 30-40mins later and that is order 3809!!!!

Just for fun I'll share my order number. I have P3 on order from last July (#2157), ordered Final Resistance at 9:13am (was sleeping dammit, 7:13am my time), Order number is 3676.
Will let you all do the math and speculate on what that means... go!
Quoted from gprotein:Probably get heat for this but never fail in this hobby: FOMO time!
Not exactly. I think it is more fear of having to wait forever to get a game. The wait time on a new P3 base machine is now about a year (ordered my Weird Al in February, got it in January... and still waiting on additional modules). However, P3 is really reasonable with deposit amounts ($500 to reserve a spot). I can order this, pay the remaineder when it's ready, and sell off whichever module I'm using the least to fund (most) of it without issue. So long as new and old modules take 6+ months for fulfillment, putting money down for every new release (and selling old ones to fund it) is a (relatively) cheap way to always have something new to play.

IMHO, not necessarily apply to your case, long wait time is more a reason to postpone putting deposit without spending time on it. What’s the difference really if you have to wait 18 months vs 12? At least you tried and like it at EXPO/Bar/friends’ house first and not to worry about selling preorder spot if you don’t. With the short patience and lack of better words “ADHD” hobbyists, it’s very likely they will change their mind and go for the new hotnesses in 12 months. No biggie either way, just my opinion so carry on. I just don’t think the steep pin price increase recent years is just from the rising material cost, partly also due to the high day 1 orders
I got caught up in a meeting so I wasn't able to order until around 10:08 central time. Order number 3129. Looks like stupid work cost me 8 minutes and around 50 spots down on the list!
Quoted from Venetic:Forgot to post here at 9am, Order #3055!
Quoted from MrMikeman:Ordered the artwork about 30-40mins later and that is order 3809!!!!
I'm sure many people ordered the module as fast as possible, then came back around for the artwork. Still it looks like a solid 500 day 1 orders.
(Assuming no one bumped up the order numbers to keep us guessing.)

Six *long* months!!!
Unless you wait for the used market, waiting won't make it any cheaper.
And with the P3, you can have both the new hotness and the old comfy.
Quoted from rai:I’m still waiting to play a P3 before I order one.
Understandable.
I've demoed my P3 to 3 fellow Pinsiders.
Use Pinside to search for owners near to you and ask. The worst that can happen is that they will say no.

I know you moved to Florida, but if anyone is interested in trying one out in the Metro DC/Baltimore area send me a PM and I'd be happy to let anyone try mine out. I'm planning on bringing mine to the Allentown show this year as well if I can drag it up the hill.
Quoted from Max_Badazz:What is the lowest order number for the module? Looks to be 3055?
I got 3067 ... PU
2849 is the lowest I have seen!

Exactly.
The P3 platform is really different. On the P3 you can get a software only game instantly, but those pesky physical components still take time. Folks with base machines already have the greatest advantage here.
Someone joining the queue for a base machine and FR will probably have the experience of *another* module announced/released in the window while waiting (as happened to some WAMONH buyers with FR). If that person wants in on the next new MM hotness, they can add it to their order and have two fun new games and wait less time for the second. That's just a bit different than other mfgs where the new game release makes you rethink everything due to limited space, getting out and back in at the back of a new line, etc.
I totally understand the rationale for waiting for a stream or a chance to play. The rationale that a year is a lifetime to wait, so what's another six months? That doesnt make sense to me --especially knowing that future titles are coming down the line, and more frequently? Well... folks just might just regret that decision to wait.
Quoted from rockrand:2849 is the lowest I have seen!
That one doesn't make sense, I placed order 2998, for Artwork, *yesterday*.
