I have a 1976 recel lady luck. The 100,000 scoring reel is making a chattering or buzzing sound on all 4 players. Does anyone know what would cause this to happen

dont have that pin, but I would look at the 100K score relay.
also, chk the player unit. just a guess

No there is not but the score goes into the 100 thousands.
I'm not quite familar with those games, but don't leave the game on too long when troubleshooting or you'll cook 4 or 5 coils pretty quick. Good luck with it!

Are any of the switches on that relay gapped too close?
There should be a switch on the 100,000 point relay with a grey-black and blue-white wire running to it. If it's gapped too close it could intermittently lock on the 100,000 point relay for all players. A quick test would be to put a piece of cardboard in between that switch's leaves and see if the chattering stops.
The 100,000 point relay is labeled "K" in this game, apparently, if you can't locate it easily.
