I’ve checked P5B, Ax relay, z1,z2 and can’t figure it out.
Sometimes it doesn’t work, sometimes it only resets player 1&2
Sometimes it only resets player 3&4

I cleaned the player unit circuit board thinking that would fix it but no luck.
Why does it work for 1&2 only then I do the reset again and works 3&4?

I was able to watch the player unit while wife hit start and it didn’t complete step one. It completed 2,3,4.
I wish this could post videos (could use YouTube) I saw Z2 energize. Took a picture of 21st position
I got numbers >0 on all reels, hit start again and completed step 1&2&4 but not 3
Wasn’t able to get a video, wife didn’t stay to push start again
Another topic, it worked properly before so not too worried about this wire. When I looked at player unit there was a wire (maybe a ground?) looped around the fastener and that holds the player unit to the sheet metal bracket
Would that be a ground wire or did it come disconnected from something?

For a switch to work 3 things are necessary:
1) When open, there should be a small space between the contact points (duh)
2) When closing, the long blade's contact point should push the short blade's contact point enough to move the short blade
3) The contact points should be clean, which they usually will be if #2 is happening
