Just got home and finished setting up a nice score from a great couple in Cleveland. A beautiful CV and POTO. Both HUO and purchased new from Cleveland Coin in 1997 and 1991 respectively (with receipts to back it up). He proceeded to tell me the entire history of his relationship with Cleveland Coin and his wife's love of slot machines, which is what they are replacing the pins with apparently. He also informed me that these pins haven't even been turned on in over 4 years and they haven't been shopped or had any rubbers replaced since day one. They both need completely shopped (all rubbers are dry rotted) and CV has a couple switch issues and a factory reset issue that I am unsure of (if anyone can assist please post or PM me) Anyway - I couldn't be happier to have 2 of my Grails in my home. They are absolutely stunning.

Here are a couple pics from tonight and a link for CV pics on my initial visit. WOOOHOOOO

Quoted from PINBELL:

Nope. Changed them and it fixed my factory restore issue. Next item is the right spinner switch issue and the left slingshot isn't working. Pretty sure it just needs the coil replaced.

Nice score. Huo with a lock bar on coin door. Must have been installed by Operator I'm guessing.

I believe CV came with those brackets factory installed.

Nice score!

Check my original post with the link to pictures. This is HUO. No lock bar. Its factory. But its my word against yours.

Got all the kinks worked out of CV today. Fixed all the switch errors slingshot issue and ended up playing it for over 2 hours straight....Im hooked. Trying to figure out why some people bash this title. CV is fast and furious, has difficult shots (minus RM of course), the sound package kicks my ass with the volume up, artwork is incredible, toys, pops, ramps, magnets... OMG.. I love this thing. Maybe this is just one of those pins that shares the same love/hate that TOTAN brings. Or maybe its because it feels like I just took it out of the box. Poor Phantom, its pretty and sounds cool, buuuuuut that's about it. Probably gonna move it out soon with the right offer (did I just type that?)

CV came with lock bar mounts attached to the machine already.

#15 11 years ago

Did any other machines come with the lock bar mounted from the factory?

#16 11 years ago

yeah, didn't all the WPC 95's have the mounted lock bar mounts? I know TOTAN did.

I believe mine did have one on it at one time because of the bolts that are both side of the coin door. I do have to say it is in pretty great condition if it was routed. Thanks for the info.
