Hi I installed a 5101 nvram in my tristar pinball and for some reason when I went to start a game the score is changing it self without me playing. It was not doing this before I installed the nvram. What could be my issue all of a sudden

Did youinstall the NVRAM using appropriate anti-ESD handling procedures for CMOS ICs?
It’s just keep changing 100 at a time. Did not do that before and what is the anti esd. I just took it and plugged it in

Is the score changing during gameplay, or just when the power is on and the game is in attract mode? If it is changing during game play I would suspect a stuck switch.
The most important simple rule of handling static sensitive devices:
All CMOS devices should be placed on a ground bench surface and operators should ground themselves prior to handling devices since a worker can be statically charged with respect to the bench surface. Wrist straps in contact with skin are strongly recommended
