I just bought a used Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory (CE) pin and want to re-register the Scorbit config to me. From what I understand when the original owner registered it, JJ pins display a "pairing QR" the first time they are used. After that all of the QRs that are displayed are "navigational" QRs that cannot be used for pairing. Whenever I attempt to pair the pin to my Scorbit account I get a "cannot pair your device" error. Does anyone know how what the process is to unpair/unregister a JJ pin and re-pair/re-register it to a new owner? Thanks in advance.

Quoted from chillme:

Check the time on the Wonka, it needs to be current. If it's drifted too much you will get the device error, even after it's been paired.

The time is set properly from the network - I have also adjusted the time zone. I think I saw another user mention this as well so I definitely checked here to see if that was the problem. I guess it is a feature gap that won't allow you to de-register automatically and that it needs to be done on the back end.
