I'd definitely buy one. They could have a number of great modes: rescue Daphne; help Thelma find her glasses; Shaggy and Scooby build a giant sandwich; find a clue; Shaggy and Scooby earn a Scooby Snack; pick a Ghoul; build a trap and bait it with Shaggy and Scooby, etc. If someone builds this pinball, they should definitely go back to the original television series and base the ghouls, sounds, and movie clips from that version.

+1 on the fog machine. I wouldn't care who built it, I'd spring for a pre-order. Scooby Doo is timeless and would probably be a good earner in arcades too.

I think Thumbcandy is spot on, fill the game with lots of trapdoors, levers, moving bookcases, ramps, and such and maybe make the modes solving some of their most popular original mysteries like: Miner Forty-Niner, Black Knight, Captain Cutler, Phantom, Redbeard's Ghost, etc. Each mystery would require moving through a different sequence of trap doors, bookcases, switches, levers, and ramps, so the game play could be at least somewhat intuitive, unlike some recent pin modes (hit the flashing Transformer lane 11 times). The music and video would be a no brainer, straight from the cartoons.

I would also have to buy one. The Scooby Doo theme is timeless.

There are many different Scooby Doo shows to theme it from. Personally, I would prefer their original mysteries version of the game. Just please keep Scrappy Doo out of it, even as a bash toy.

    Quoted from Flato:

    I second this motion

I Scooby Dooby Dooooo the motion!

I'd like to see a pin based upon the original first few seasons of Scooby Doo, Where Are you. There were some classic monsters in those and pure, no-Scrappy Scooby.

    Quoted from Adydar:

I agree it should be the cartoon version as shovelhed said, however, I'm only slightly ashamed to admit that I enjoyed the live action versions, just wouldn't want it on a pin

I also prefer the original cartoon. I really like the music and sound effects such as fog horns, bats flying, etc. But, I'd consider a live action version too if done well.

I don't particularly care who makes it. Given all the games we know are coming, I guess it would have to be Stern if we want the game finished this decade.
