We have a very old inground fiberglass pool. Ours is 9’ 36’ X 16’ I think we pretty much have replaced everything now. I had to do a skimmer this year. That was a chore! We a have a 400,000 btu furnase that will turn this thing into 34,000 gallon hot tub in a few hours. I think this thing was installed in late seventies.

Like last year when the wife accidentally dropped a large handful of weeds she pulled into the skimmer when the basket was out! Holy Crap! My suction line stopped up and I had to call a guy over that had some kind of Leaf Blower looking contraption. It gave the pool the Hiemlik Maneuver and it came right out. It seems like every few years I get some kind of weird instance that leaves me scratching my head.
