Hello could someone please help me, understand what the difference colour wires represent on a schematic,ie always live, negative, switched live, negative.I would like to learn more about reading Bally Bingo schematics, is there a book or web site you can recommend. I have a basic understanding. Thanks in advance.

    You can start here: https://www.pinwiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=EM_Repair

Not specific to bingos, but the concepts will carry over.

Have you been to https://bingo.cdyn.com/? It's an excellent resource and guide written by another Pinsider.
In particular you'll want to explore the many pages at https://bingo.cdyn.com/techno/howtheywork/.

Phil Hooper can explain it all. He is the best.
    Read his https://bingo.cdyn.com/techno/readschem/

    and everything will be clear.

Yep, Phil's write up is the best

    Quoted from bingobeast:

    and everything will be clear.

if that's true, let us know what you've been drinking. If it came from Islay, then it's the same stuff the guy was drinking when he wrote it

when things on bingo.cdyn.com don't make any sense, send in a comment via the website or email to [email protected]. Much of the "how they work" stuff is too dense and needs a rewrite ... or at least move some of the tmi into rathole boxes so it can be ignored.

It could be that some items are difficult to understand so don't be ashamed to improve those articles. I didn't see anything better and I did learn a lot of his site.
