The test report indicates a spider wheel error and it does not spin during game play. When I run the test the spider wheel spins and stops at position 403 and shows an error. I checked the opto transmitter with an IR card and saw a red indication. I tested the opto by inserting a card in and out of the opto and the test looked like the switch was toggling. Does anyone know what else I can do to check this out and get it working? Thanks.

Here is what I tried. The plastic spider mounting shaft was cracked, probably due to it being over tightened. I . reinforced the shaft with a thin plastic sleeve. I bought a long handled 1/16" allen wrench tool to make removing and installing the spider. Well worth $8. The opto seems to be working so I ordered a new motor ($15 from the robot store that another member recommended). Have not installed it yet. If the motor solves the problem I will post back.

I installed the new $15 motor (as suggested by pinsider dgoett) and reinstalled the spider using some Loctite on the set screw. The spider is now working just fine. Having a long straight handle 1/16 allen wrench makes life easier when working on this. I think I'll take the old motor apart now and see what it looks like inside. Thanks for the help.
