Power on, backbox lights on, power supply leds on, playfield and dmd dark. 2-3 minutes later one ding and system comes to life. Works fine once booted. Reseated all cables and chips

Game unplugged, check the thermistor in the power box. If it looks burnt at all, replace it. If it looks ok, you can use a jumper to bypass it. If game boots right away with jumper in place, replace the thermistor.

I seen most times slow boot because of battery damage below the battery holder on the WPC95 MPU. Please post a picture of the board.
Unplug all connectors on CPU board except J210 and power up watching LED's on CPU board. If it boots properly, add gray ribbon cables one at a time to narrow down what's causing CPU to boot slow.
No corrision on board, unplugged all other connectors and still boots slow. Looks like it may be Rottendog time

Though, I would first unplug the ribbon cables from the MPU board. Still takes a long time to boot?
