i finally found what I think might be the SS that lands in my collection. YES! Awaiting pix and the likes but in discussion about what might be wrong with the game - cosmetic, mechanical, fixes , the goods and the bads stuff..... the only issue it keeps having is that he tells me it seems like the coil is/seems weak, that kicks the balls out of the coffin during multiball. He says it takes sometimes 2-3 times to get the ball(s) to kick out. He has replaced the door spring, checked the rod, and mentioned he was going to maybe try taking a couple winds of copper off the coil,,,, or get a little more powerful coil to replace that one with. He has done nothing yet and I think the deal would probably be I inherit the problem.
I don't have the game in front of me so its just discussion and then some pix.
Does anyone have any ideas of the quickest simplest fix. I am not the best testing voltages and stuff like that, but I have no problem buying the right part at a cost and replacing parts for the easier but maybe more costly fix.
The pin would be a keeper in my lineup so I don't have a problem with spending the right money for a part to just fix it right.
Thanks for any help, and just want to make sure there is a fix for it and not something that will always be a problem.
