Quoted from spfxted:Anyone have that plastic green dripping stuff for near the speakers?
think back alley had something similar at tpf last year.
Quoted from spfxted:Hi again. The Tilt Sideblades and Bat Ramp are gone. Just Magnetic Bat Speaker Thingys and original SS DMD left. I may have an original Manual...
damn, late again!
Quoted from littlecammi:How much for just one rib? (Chris Rock requested that I ask.)
f#ck the cup, pour it my hand for a dime!

what did you use to repair the wear at "terrifying"
Quoted from ccbiggsoo7:did it come with black rubbers from the factory or white?
anyone?
Quoted from kdunbar:Promo video shows all black, I used the gray from Titan, looks really good on this game
pics please?
Quoted from n1teowl:I did some work to fix my "Terrifying" issue today. I thought about trying the decal, but I know some said that it didn't match that well. I did it by hand and I'm happily with it.[quoted image][quoted image]
care to share the red paint you used?
Quoted from legendpin:I bought one too at Pinball expo and now my SS is ready, have you idea where I can find instructions?
instructions for what? installation?
anybody know where to get the full flipper assemblies for this game. what's factory coil that comes on each?
Quoted from Ratiganpin:Hi all, has anyone had an issue where the following message permanently appears on the dmd from start up - ' SLAM TILT SWITCH IS STUCK CLOSED' ?
My Scared Stiff has just started to do this. I was playing a game when it suddenly went into stiffometer mode when I only had 2 tales of terror completed, and also crate multiball at the same time.
I fired both balls into the crate and then everything stopped responding and the slam tilt stuck closed message appeared on the dmd.
Now every time I start the machine, the screen displays the usual diagnostic startup screen, followed by the SLAM TILT STUCK CLOSED message. This is also followed by the ball plunger firing 5 times.
I have looked at the slam tilt switch on the floor inside the cabinet, which appears to be fine, and if I push the switch down to connect, the message on the dmd changes to only ' SLAM TILT ' and then goes back to the full stuck closed message after a few seconds.
Can anyone give me any advice please?
check the slam tilt switch on the door too?
yeah they def need to figure out something more flexible to make these sling plastics out of. can't really put a protector on it.
go into light test, middle gi's are dim for some reason. Upper and lower are all fine. checked plugs on boards, can't find any broken wires or loose connections anybody seen this before.... they work just dim.
Quoted from Lethal_Inc:Marco should have this ramp and it’s expensive. You could try super gluing washers of the right size, one on the bottom and one on top making your own hole to remount and hold secure.
don't buy there, you will just overpay. starship fantasy has them brand new. so does planetary pinball. personally id put 2 big washers there and forget it.
Quoted from Lethal_Inc:Right. Both of those places you mentioned are just as much if not more than Marco. Do your deligence before you post BS.

Quoted from Lethal_Inc:Having a real weird opto problem on switches 37-left (crate) kickout and 42-middle coffin lock. The opto on the crate kickout works for a while when testing and then stops. Come back a little later and it does the same thing. Opto on switch 42 will work once or twice in test mode and then stops. Come back latter and it works once or twice then stops again. Both the transmitter and receiver on both switches have been changed out to new ones. Is there a problem with my 16 switch opto board underneath the playfield and how do I troubleshoot that? Why do both switches work intermittently and then stop?
id try reflowing solder on the board
Quoted from jake35:Considering selling or trading my HEP restored SS if anyone is interested. It's still in perfect condition, no wear anyone since Chris restored it. I have more details on the restore if anyone is interested, Chris sent me a PM with the details it was one of his early jobs.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
why would chris put an aftermarket coin door on a restore he did?
