Quoted from jchybro:the color you are seeing is from a strip of deep blue LED lighting across the top-back.
Is that LED strip connected to the GI, so does it go out together with the GI when you get to Scared Stiff mode?

Now I finally got around to complete my SS with all LEDs, skull pile mod, candle flames, illuminated score cards, the newest decal set from PDI and a blue LED strip like the one rpageler has on his machine. The difference to rpageler is, that I used a 6V LED strip which I connected to the GI through a very easy rectifier circuit. The candle flames are also connected to that circuit, so both will switch off in Scared Stiff mode.
Here´s a few pictures I wanted to share with the rest of the club.

No jokes about my high score, ok!!

In reality it´s not nearly as bright blue as in this picture:

Here´s the rectifier circuit mounted to the backboard:

Now all I need is the ColorDMD..........
Quoted from Sethman:Where did the illuminated cards come from?
thepinwitch.com in Germany: http://thepinwitch.com/gx2/product_info.php/info/p3220_beleuchtete-scorecards-warmweiss---williams.html
It´s just a self-illuminating plastic foil connected to 12V on the coindoor board. And the score cards laser printed on transparent slides.
Hi littlecammi,
where did you get those skulls from? Are they glass with different color LEDs inside?
Quoted from thall17:My Scared Stiff the spider slows and throws itself off calibration (points to wrong reward) only after the machine has been on for a few hours??
If it has been turned off, the spider will work correctly, again for a few hours. Just seems after the game has "warmed up" it throws itself off....????
This post describes very well what you need to check to see if it´s the Spider Wheel Motor:

Quoted from VolunteerPin:1. It looks like another goal is to finish all the spider inserts. Is that the only thing left for me to beat? I've heard SS is fun but not super deep. That doesn't necessarily bother me, I'm just curious. My final score (and new GC score since I cleared the old scores as it was set on 5-ball and changed it to 3-ball). So far my kids and folks who were over for a Christmas party last night love it. Funny that I did receive "multiple jackpots!" with my 14 year old son and his buddy watching. I chuckled inside but didn't say anything as I wasn't sure if maybe that went over their heads. They didn't say anything so I didn't either!
yep, but that´s a hard one (at least for me)
Quoted from VolunteerPin:2. What is the point of the "Spell" targets on the left?
they light the kickback, which is not really a kickback but gives you another ball into the shooter lane
