Wow, thanks for the explanation.... Can I ask you to please post pics of your machine?

Sure Amendes. Check back in a couple of hours. I'll take a couple of pics of that area when I get home from work and post them here.

Edit: Hey Amendes, I found one picture that I posted earlier in this thread showing an early production apron that my machine has. In this picture you can see the right anti-bounce back bar. You can see it mounts in the holes you were questioning.

Yeah, got it! Thanks!

My EatPM and my TotAN also have these anti-bouce back bars.... I just took another look at my SS and I could only spot the holes on the remote control, there are no holes under the flipper bats...

BTW, that early production aprons with the spiders are great. Someone was selling these stickers (just the spiders) at ebay a few years ago, but shipping to Brazil was too expensive.

They contacted me. They HAVE 2XL shirts, they are just out of stock. Unfortunately, they are poly...which I hate!

#1957 8 years ago

Thanks amendes yeh looked through all 40 pages but all I see is skull toppers just wondering if there was someone else making something different. Id like the elvira slot topper if anyone has one? Cheers

Did the whole bracket break, or did the opto sensor break? I just replaced my opto on that same hole a few weeks ago. The ball broke the led right off the board. It's hard to see from your pics. It's blurry.

#1962 8 years ago

What do you guys think about it?

I like it a lot! Any pics of it on a game?

#1964 8 years ago

That looks cool, but wouldn't the "Bally" logo on the speaker panel cause a wrinkle/bump in the decal? I also think the top corners of the legs need to be removed from the image.

No... I was thinking the same....

Quoted from yzfguy:

hehe.... I haven't noticed....

BTW, that speaker panel is being made by a friend of mine... he asked for my opinion and I decided to share it here.... I'll pass on these feedback!

I would by one right now!!

I'm thinking about ordering one for me, but I guess it's coming quite costly (about US$ 150.00 + shipping)!

#1968 8 years ago

Is it listed for sale?

#1969 8 years ago

Nope, the speaker panel is being made by a friend of mine here in Brazil.

I finally fixed my crate problem by installing a new auto eddy board went in very easy and works well, I do wish all the screws lined up but oh well, I figured id take a few pictures of the machine without the glass. I have had it since November buts its still looking pretty good. I added a bunch of extras skull lights, flickering candles, light back panel, black mirror blades, monster over light lock, plasma mod, lighted eyeball shooter, dancing boogie men, color dmd, black powder coat, cliffys, purple spider hole led, leds throughout. It has the original silk screen cab and back box.

Speaker_Panel_SS_(resized).jpg

The updated version looks better with the "legs" removed, but the flipper button should be taken off too, also this looks like it was modeled off of a faded cabinet as the green is off in color and probably the red too...

Just some items noticed..better now then after full production.

#1977 8 years ago

Very sharp mick, indeed the colors are from a faded cab. Recognize those colors everywhere.

Does anyone have the PinSound board installed on a SS? I've just watched the wonders this sound board does to TZ and TAF, but could not find SS anywhere....

#1982 8 years ago

Just joined because I finally found a SS project. Mine like many has the trap door issues . Looks like an interesting hack was done, but I am trying to get it right. Does anyone have a good pic or set of pics of this ramp as it relates to the BB ramp? I have a new BB ramp and am trying to see how to make a part for the trap door since it appears they are not available. Or does anyone have a link to someone who is making repros?

Any help would be greatly appreciated and glad to be here.

Anyone install the new Spider Plastic to the back box light board? I plan on applying mine new one soon and wanted to know if anyone has applied one and what they used to apply it? Glue, double sided tape, etc etc.
Originally they were glued on but what a pain to get removed from the board.

Thanks for any ideas for application.

Hey Amendes..."New Spider Plastic"... It is the flat panel plastic that attaches to the swinging board inside the back box, the swinging board with GI lighting and some flashers attached. The arm from the spider motor goes through the middle of it and many of the original plastics are are cracked. Make sense?

I have replaced mine. You need to use 3M 77 spray on. http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/Adhesives/Tapes/Products/~/3M-Super-77-CA-Multi-Purpose-Spray-Adhesive-Low-VOC-25-Clear-Net-Wt-18-0-oz-12-per-case?N=5396314+4294874862&rt=rud

Ensure you have clamps for the corners and put some books on the top to keep it down. It works great.

Cool....Thanks. I just sanded my board down yesterday and am ready to install today. Will give it a shot.

#1991 8 years ago

No problem. Just be liberal with the spray in the corner areas, they tend to lift. Had to redo one of my corners twice.

Sweet! Thanks for posting these. I'm considering getting them too. Can you also please put up a few pics with more light (daytime or room lights on), and also maybe a players view?

Just curious how the side art colors blend with playfield colors. They look pretty cool!
