Just traded for this SS and the cabinet was pretty faded. Since I am not ready to start a full cabinet restore I decided to see if red, lime green, and orange sharpies would make the cabinet look a little better. I think it turned out pretty nice for a total expense of $5.00. Not the best photos but I think you can see the before and after.

I've used black sharpies to fill in spots many times. But even sharpies rub off and usually fad once dried. Either way looks good enough for me!
