#89 bulbs are flashers and only work when the coin door is closed and never "always on" unless you have a shorted transistor on the pdb.

#89 bulbs are flashers and only work when the coin door is closed and never "always on" unless you have a shorted transistor on the pdb.
with the machine on, access the coin door service buttons and find your way into the test menu, browse to flasher test, hold the big white switches for the coin door closed in and cycle thru the test to see the flashers working one at a time. Then you'll know which bulbs are bad. Replace bulbs with the machine powered off. Retest.
