Saw this ad. Response was "$3500 per machine, send me your phone number and respond to my email." I responded via the ad and not their email and asked for their location, no response. Email is probably fake. Too good to be true...

    #3 10 years ago

Yep, I thought they were taken from somewhere else.

    #4 10 years ago

They keep asking for my email address. Don't they have that when you respond on CL? What can they do with an email address?

Register a fake one on yahoo and mess with them, post all the interactions on here, comedy gold my friend!

Used another address, price dropped to 1700 per machine.

    Getting closer...

"Well did you received the pics ? hope you did love them . As you said
you are willing to take all the four machines, it will cost you $6800
for all . so when do you intend to have the machines with you ?"

I responded I'd pick up tomorrow, send me address and payment method. As you can tell, a little bored tonight, I should go play avengers.

    #9 10 years ago

Lol. Damn Nigerians need to get a REAL JOB.

    #10 10 years ago

And here's where it ends...she told me she was in Philly, why does she need closest airport. Does anyone ever fall for this crap?

Well you can do the payment via WesternUnion or MoneyGram since it is
fast, safe and reliable. So if you can send the money now, i will
collect it, then arrange the sale contract document and the change of
ownership under your names . so can i have the following information
    from you

    Full names
    State
    City
    Zip code
    Home/street address
    Contact number
    Closest airport

With these information the paper work will be made under your names as
the new owner of the machines. ok

    #11 10 years ago

Maybe she should sell them to Carl for a discount, and get a free hour of pinball instruction. Heck, he might through in a Pepsi upgrade instead of a Shasta.

    #16 10 years ago

    #17 10 years ago

i'll quoted +1 for you, but in fact, some of them are surelly making more money than you and me...

in french, we have an adverb who says : "tous les matins, y'a un pigeon qui se lève" (you can translate this, know what i mean)

    #20 10 years ago

Heads up guys, but I'll be selling my games to help pay for my surgery next week. My mom, Antonida, will be helping me out until I get on my feet. Her English isn't that great, but she's a genuine sweetheart and willing to work with the buyer.

BTW, she has a bit of dementia, so she may ask you for something weird like how many cats you own or where the nearest airport is located. Just go with it.

hmmm... something tell me you wanna buy a TAF !?

    #25 10 years ago

Will four pinball game machines fit in your motor vehicle car?

    #26 10 years ago

Still going...I asked if I could pay cash when I arrived. Hilarious. I asked for the wire Instructions and address, waiting on that.

well if you can send $1000 now so that i can obtain the change of
ownership and sale contract document and then tomorrow when you come
over, you can then complete the remaining $5800 cash to me. so i will
need the information i asked you to prepare the documents with now .
    ok

    #27 10 years ago

Wow. I've done a bill of sale on my last few purchases and the seller even questioned that. I wasn't aware that we now had do change of ownership paperwork and that it cost that much to do.

    #28 10 years ago

Bill of sale? I just hand cash over and take the machine. I give you cash, you help me shove machine in the truck. At least your having fun! I hope her son gets through his surgery OK

    #29 10 years ago

I just type up a very simple " ____ sold ____ to _____ for ____ on (date)" form that we both sign and I give a copy to the seller. Mostly for records and insurance purposes, since I am an analyst for an insurancr company and overly cautious. I do it on anything over $500, per my homeowners insurance agent's recommendation.

    #30 10 years ago

I'm going to email the seller and tell him that his machines are worth more $$$ and then offer him $100 over your agreed upon sale price.

    "Do you love pinball games..........?"

You should have answered "NO" to that one.
