    You may also consider bookmarking several posts in a thread. And have an option of only seeing bookmarked posts (great for filtering noise!): a little bit like the option to only read posts from a given pinsider.

    Agreed! It be really nice to have the bookmarks be permanent until the user takes it away. I'd like to use it to mark certain posts of threads that have thousands of entries. For example in one of the Ghostbuster threads, I'd like to mark some mods I'll buy in the future, some NIB issue workarounds. Currently the bookmarks get wiped out after you click in.
