Hey Hilton - I'd be happy to bring a game. I'm not sure what it'll be yet, but it won't be my I.C.E. Flintstones as I'd have to start moving that today to get it there by September.

Quoted from Whysnow:I vote Night Moves
I'll bring that game if everyone agrees to wear leisure suits to Mad Rollin.
Fire (Champagne Edition) is ready to go! I made sure the fire bell on top is extra loud so you'll be dreaming about the constant clanging every night for the rest of your lives.
Quoted from Doot77:One thing i think to keep in mind for goals is if a game has the ability to steal locked balls, it really isn't the best game for the golf format, especially if the goal is to start multiball. I know I felt bad being player two on a game and walking up and stealing two balls locked by player one and hitting two fairly easy shots and getting a hole in one after player one did most of the hard work for me.
I brought the Fire and set the goal (multiball). I thought it would be cool for people to see the two extra fire simulators in the head on the champagne edition (which are not on the regular version), plus I just love multiball on Fire (the bell ringing, the display animations, the fire cylinders on the playfield and in the head, the speech callouts).
I never for a second thought about the locked ball carryover. Hilton came over to me and pointed it out after we had started golf, and even if I could have turned it off (I don't think you can) it would have been too late to change. It was suggested I put a note on the game about the lock carryover, and I did.
I agree with the random aspect of it not really being fair, just wanted to say it wasn't planned - just had to wing it once it was discovered. Hopefully it didn't cause too much frustration.
Quoted from Doot77:No problem, no hard feelings. I know I usually play 1 player games myself and can see not thinking about something like that too. I brought BSD and after talking with a few players realized my goal of two multiballs was fairly difficult. Especially if you missed hitting the mist ball, which if you don't own the game and know the timing on that shot can be kinda hard. I haven't played fire much before and didn't realized that fire effect was unique to the champaign edition. That and the unique cabinet and trim were definitly cool.
Yeah, that's exactly it. I just got finished restoring the Fire (Mike Chestnut did the side rails and lockdown bar) and mostly played the game myself and only a handful of two player games. Probably only 30 plays total since I got it.
BTW, loved your BSD and I'm definitely going to do what you told me with the colored LED's in the backbox - yours looks 1000x better than mine that has just the normal bulbs in it. Had the game for 10 years and it's still one of my faves.
Quoted from Methos:Thanks for bringing the Fire! Todd. That was a beautiful version of the game.
Thank you Mark for bringing Tommy and Torpedo Alley. I can't say enough good things about Tommy because I love it but was surprised how much I liked Torpedo Alley. The callouts and the OOooga horn were great. I had never played one before. Also, that could be the greatest translite ever (if cheese was the main judging factor).
Quoted from CaptainNeo:Btw, I want to mention your fire is phenomenal. Never seen the champagne edition before. And yours is in fantastic shape. Great game.
Thanks Neo!
