I successfully sanded some white translucent inserts for a replacement on Darling, but I'm wondering what the recommended procedure is for doing the same with a transparent colored insert. Is it simply a matter of going through the higher grades of abrasive and water sanding?

Yes — are you clearcoating in it? If so stop at 600 or so.

I am not clear coating the playfield, so just how fine a grade is recommended? At what point is water sanding the next step?
