What kind of sand blasting media do you use when cleaning legs, doors, etc? Where do you get parts and media for your machine?

I just bought a portable sand blaster, made by Dayton (Probably was distributed by Grainger), and I need the brush around the nozzle and a new canister gasket. I can't find any information on it. I want to try corn cobs or walnut shells, but I am not sure if I have the correct nozzle, so I would need to find a manual for it as well. Another bad part is that I can't find a model number on it. All I know is its 120 volt, 1000 watts, and is about 43" tall, and 15" around. It has a model number tag, but the number is worn off - it looks like it was inked instead of etched.

    Any ideas? Thanks

glass bead media works great if you want the resulting surface smooth. the courser the media, the relatively rougher the surface will be after sandblasting
