Sounds like a great time for any pinsiders on the West Coast

I'm hoping drbond will be there! It all came together just today. Both I and the new distributor are excited about it. He's a music guy and has around 8 pins, all music themed (Guns n Roses, Tommy, two KISS machines (one with the German backglass), Dolly Parton, Wizard, Capt. Fantastic and a couple others).

I worked some cross-promotion with the local pinball museums (PPM and Playland not at the Beach). I'll be providing food and the vendor will provide sodas. Should be a great time!

Does Monster Bash count as a music theme?

#5 13 years ago

Maybe, but Guns 'n Roses and Tommy will have to do at the event. The guy is a pinhead, with a leaning toward music games. He's even got a Dolly Parton in the basement!

Anything with Elvira counts under the category of "teen fantasy" theme, with the Playboy machines

The Pinball Mafia has been invited, as have BAPA, the EBPL, Sac pinball group and the SF pinball group. Come out and support Bay Area pinball. Playland not at the Beach is supporting it as well as the PPM with prizes and give-aways. Hope to see some of you!

Thanks to all who attended. Around 40 people showed up for the event. Jim Chen is toying with the idea of a Chinese NBA launch party so maybe we can do it again soon.

Thanks to Pacific Pinball Museum and Playland not at the Beach for donating hundreds of dollars' worth of Passes and Club Cards which were awarded as prizes to the novice winners, given out in the raffle and given to every tournament entrant. Thanks to Jim Chen of Audio Images for hosting the event and to all the volunteers for helping run the tournaments and setup/cleanup.
