I recently picked up a nice sample Jackbot. Most of the shots to the eye locks are rejected. I know this is a problem with the 250 or so samples that are out there. I can see where a previous owner drilled extra holes under the visor for a star post. I need to repair and touchup this area. Does anyone have a solution to make the ball stick better in the eye locks? Thanks in advance!

My rejection ratio seems to be about 60% of the time. I setup my pins on the difficult side but in this case it's frustrating. Thanks for input.

Working on this issue tonight. Nothing seems to really help. I tried moving the plate back, different angles, drop dead foam. Frustrating!!

Update. Nothing I tried worked!. I understand why Williams changed the ball lock mechs. Looks like I'm buying production mechs and getting out the drill.
