I completed a Safecracker restoration recently. When I originally obtained it earlier in the year, it was clear there was water damage at some point as the bottom of the cabinet and back of the head were like sponges. Components were slightly corroded. CPU looked ok, I replaced the driver with a Rotten Dog (there was a burn so bad on the original that a hole was burned straight through the board), sound/display board looked ok. I didn't fire it up before doing the playfield swap et al because I wasn't sure the extent of the old board issues and didn't want to chance further damage.

When I power it on with the door closed, the game is not booting. 5V is going to the CPU. Board game lights in backglass are all lit, GIs are lit, a few lights on playfield are on. When close the coin door the 5amp line fuse blows.

This is my first true "basket case" of a game (I restored some knarley games in the past but never had issues like this). I can definitely use some help. Game is located in Westerville, OH. Guidance, advice, etc. certainly welcome.
