Safecracker Gummed Up

Lloyd, one of the banks of drop targets on my Safecracker has 3 targets that are very slow to fall down. I removed it from the game and the best I can tell is someone might have lubed it up at some point and now it's gunked up and has too much frictions for the springs to pull the targets down when they are hit. Should I just clean everything with degreaser? Or what do you suggest?

Thanks,

The Robber

Dear Robber

No idea why. Williams did that. Best pull them out, strip all apart. Give a very thorough cleaning. Reassemble with no grease.

And if you are lucky it won't return.
