Joined this week. Fantastic game.

Question. I have the US version and US coins. I've heard some conflicting reports on how easy or difficult it is to have you game use different tokens (European). It seems locgical that it wouldn't be able to have both. Can anyone confirm that?

Hello. My game had the wings. There are special screws on the side of the head for holding them in place. Each wing is quite heavy and has large metal plate (with pad) running its medial length that arraches to the head. It is fixed in position (no hinge).

Some games for sale no longer have the wings. There is thread here on Pinside about reproduction wings.

I'm not sure. There are several long time operators her that may know.

If you really want to know more. Here's the original TOPcast interview with Pat Lawlor (the designer of Safecracker). Starting at the 48 minute mark they transition from Road Show to SafeCracker. Here all about the design and implementation. It's about 10 minutes on Safecracker.

Great to know about the DMD position. I thought it was an installation error. I'm definitely wanting one of these now.

I’m leaving the club. Listed mine today in the marketplace. Maybe one day I’ll re-join. I do like the variety.
