2016's brutality toward irreplaceable musical giants continues unabated.

Apparently he had bypass surgery this summer, and passed in his sleep early this morning.

WOW, very sad indeed. I've been a fan since the "One for the road" album with Willie in 1979.
RIP Leon, you will never be forgotten.

Sad news. I got to see him warm up for Edgar Winter and Rick Derringer in 1989.
