So I found out yesterday that a Rocket III I had the pleasure of owning for awhile was destroyed in a fire of the restaurant it was put in. No, no one was hurt which is why I'm mourning an inanimate object. Simple design, but something about it in the art work just made it a pretty thing to look at. I know there are others out there, but of course its always hard to hear of something from that time period getting destroyed. Especially when it was in fully working order. Anyways, just had to share my thoughts. Keep the owner in your prayers as well, I'm sure they had insurance but owning a restaurant is hard enough without it all burning to the ground.

PS Feel free to share any other "unnatural" destruction stories of machines you've had.

We're you able to get the pile of quarters from it?

That is a bummer. Sorry for your and the restaurant owner's losses. Glad to hear that no one was apparently hurt.

Always loved the zipper flipper games. Sorry for your loss.
