I'd check continuity of wiring from switch to board. Loose connector or loose wire in a connector, broken wire ?
LTG : )
check the wire position on the switch themselves. the ground wire should be on the "com" terminal and the coin wire should be on the "no" (normally open) terminal. if it was wired with the ground on "no" and the coin wire on "nc" (normally closed), then it will not work. there is usually an open terminal between the "com" and "no" terminals, but not always. it depends on the switch.

Exactly this. The first few games had the coin switches wired to NC and NO.
Proper coin switch wiring should be the black wire to "COM" or lug "1", and the purple wire to "NO" or lug "4".

Thanks for backing me up on that Rob
Charlie got back to me this AM, and indeed that is the issue. Some early games were wired incorrectly. Looks like I have to switch the wires on the switches. Will chime in later if/when taken care of.
Thanks so much
Yep... exactly what happened. Some of the early games just flat out got wired backwards. I should have caught it, but luckily Rob Anthony did so we could correct. He's a good dude like that any only yelled at me a little. Taro would have caught it sooner but Rob says he drools on his multimeter too much.
KingPin would have caught it, but he was busy driving everywhere, raising fish, growing lettuce, delivering games, storing games, fixing games, riding his motorcycle, and having a baby.
Just follow the photo I sent and you'll be fine.
