Over the years I've seen posts before touting the benefits of using Evaporust (https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/cult-of-evaporust), CLR (https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/cleaning-corrosion-on-em-s#post-4477635) and other solutions (https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/leg-rust-solved-with-aluminum-foil-and-water#post-3761378).
Well today I was watching some tool reviews and this Rust Remover Showdown video popped up on YouTube comparing many of the common solutions mentioned here. I though it was interesting and I know it will change what I try next time, so I figured others restoring machines might also want to check it out:
