It all depends on the specific game.
Borg has a history of designing excellent Pros.
My collection example:
I didn’t see value in Aerosmith Prem/LE.
The pro Imo has the complete game. And it’s fine and fun.
Metallica: again. Excellent pro. But I prefer the premium. The snake jaw mattered to me. Personal thing.
Maiden: I wanted the LE. But decided Premium as the art was perfect. Im a diehard maiden fan.
As for the gameplay. Had to be premium. The extra features matter to me. Never regretted the choice. It’s my fav pin
Rush: I wanted the LE. But this time around prices are up, demand is up, impossible to get (seems for me anyway)
The pro looks to be another awesome borg.
Looks like a winner.
But for ME, the clock w/ multiball. The lock ball hidden shot matter I Wanted.
VUK for me Is a bonus.
the ramp, frankly on the Prem seems an ANNOYANCE (tho gameplay will tell)
***Seriously tho, that ramp on the pro would’ve been my preferred on all 3 models.
Art: Premium wins all around for me.
Except the back glass where LE knocks it out od the park.
Unpopular opinion:
I don’t like the added lighting. And I’m VERY happy it doesn’t come standard on the premium. No thanks!
All that said. I am going premium.
The multiballs and full game are the reason.
That ramp could be annoying. But I’m ok with the ramp on maiden, so was ok to go pre-order premium.
Tho as others have said it’s “hearsay”
I can see it being true that Borg designs the pro then adds the extra on top.
However with This game, and I expect the involvement/input of many on this game,
Really wouldn’t surprise me if the Prem/LE was the main idea design
And they took away features for Pro.
Just my gut feeling. Nothing more.
