Quoted from Analogkid:Anyone know a good place to get on the list for this? I've never had a machine that I knew I had to own before even seeing one inch of it!
Got in early with JJ at Game Exchange in Denver. Give him a call.
I've seen a handful of death metal bass players that don't use picks. Aways blows my mind man. Crazy fast fretting that seems superhuman.
But yeah, Jaco is king.
Quoted from Thermionic:Those Death guys are playing lead like Geezer/Lemmy/The Ox, only 4x faster. It’s hard to believe they can do it without studio tricks, then you see them live and wonder if they sold their souls at the “Crossroads”. They are the equivalent of those 6 year-old prodigies that can play Liszt or do Calculus - possibly not quite human, lol.
I saw Vital Remains, front row, in 08 at a small club and he's the one that stands out the most. It was INSANE.
Also playing bass and singing is WAY harder than it looks.
Sure Rush will be great and all but what I'm really stoked about is the Mouse Rat pin that should be next.
Quoted from Wmsfan-GAP:They were riding on their one song ‘say what you will’ which is actually not to hard to play for the ‘ above beginner’ guitarist. It was about the only song the crowd knew. That was in Columbus, Ohio at the Ohio Center.
Nice to see you again Gryszzz!
Thanks dude!
Say What You Will is a a stone cold mf jam!
So do most of ya think there will be no tracks off Rush?
Even though it's sans Neil, it will always be one of favorite Rush albums. So raw.
14%?!
Crikey!
Tom Sawyer will 1000% be the teaser song. Probably one of the most iconic opening riffs of all time, and I don't listen to it anymore. Wire it out as a kid. But I have been spinning it lately; just getting "in the mood"
You guys got me wanting to grab the entire Rush catalog now lol. Shameful, as I should already own it.
Missing some essential shit like Hemispheres and Permanent Waves.
Zeppelin 1-4: ."Hold our beers"
Haha. Im not a Rush junkie like some of ya, but a big fan. Can't wait for this.
Quoted from jpc211245:Totally my opinion but I feel there are two what I’d consider perfect rock albums.
Moving pictures &
Dark side of the moon
Just behind those two is LZ1.
I believe Rush has the absolute best full catalog of any band in rock history. Narrowing their pin to even 15 songs would be a brutal task.
[quoted image]
Man I have a soft spot for die hard fans of any genre, salut. Moving Pictures was the first Rush album that I ever heard. I was 9 or 10 when I found this record.
Quoted from Gryszzz:Anybody else gettin all giddy or should I say GEDDY
HI HUNGRY I'M DAD
Quoted from jpc211245:LeStudio! Terrible that it burned down and now is only marked by a Rush flag.
Oh man, didn't know this...sad face.
The video footage will live forever though!
Quoted from Methos:People gloat all over Neil, and I get it. But Geddy played bass (at a high level of musicianship), does all vocals, plays keys, and bass pedals. All in the same song and live too. He's a fucking boss!
Then ya throw in Lifeson now you got a party.
Quoted from cscmtp:I like Zep, but I think those 4 releases are better than those 4 from Zep, I really do.
I'm a drummer. Neil is my all time favorite...that being said, Geddy is the most talented in the band, and its not close IMO. He seriously might be an Alien.
Well you're wrong but I'll buy ya a beer anyways
I never hooked up my IMLE to a sub because the upgraded speakers sound really nice, but this,... this...
This might get TWO subs
I'm sure Geddy had some input there. Didn't someone say earlier he was "hands-on" with this? The man's a genius, so I hope so.
Quoted from j_m_:Gryszzz
I think I've got you beat. I won this at the music rising auction a few weeks ago and this will become my sub/sound system for the pin ( or at the very least displayed next to the machine
[quoted image]
Holy shit!!
You won that?!?!
Congratulations! Yessir, will look spectacular next the pin!
Quoted from yancy:Still can't believe Gryszzz is a Rush guy.
Lol! Yancy buddy if you ask any death metal junkie what they love about it, besides the camaraderie/lifelong friends, they'll tell you the extremely intricate and difficult musicianship, from every single member.
That is generally appreciated across all genres by us metal guys.
Plus did you not skate your ass off to Tom Sawyer at the roller rink back in the early 80's lol
Quoted from Rob_G:Maiden is just a tough game for me and that somewhat spoils the fun of it. I've lost interest in Godzilla, but Rush really resonates with me. I'm super excited to see it even if I can't afford one. Unless I sold my Iron Maiden I guess....
Rob
I still can't hit that left ramp worth a fuck...
Genius pf design I gotta admit, but frustrating AF for a novice player like myself.
Quoted from Vino:I get it boys, but Maiden is still my fav Elwin.
Have you played Godzilla?
Good friend of mine runs that Karma, but I live in Bloomington, 45 min south. It's a college town, so we have 2.5 record stores. One sells mostly t shirts.
Got these at Landlocked Music.
Was able to order every cd up to Signals on the Rush Remasters.
Brand new Rush cd for $6.50?
I'LL TAKE EM ALL.
Still too early to tell for me, and Maiden was my 1st LE and 1st nib. But gotdamn...Godzilla might be better.
Now I'm really starting to wonder about Lifeson's guitar collection and what he played on what tracks.
Quoted from insight75:I can't believe "The Trees" didn't make the cut..... That song is about this thread.
I can. And that's my favorite Rush track.
AUKraut are you gonna be mass producing these for sale? Not a topper guy but that is FREAKIN AMAZING!
So...what do you guys think A Passage to Bangkok is about lol
Can't believe I haven't paid more attention to 2112 until now. Freakin perfection.
Those are the genius lyrics from 2112, pt 3 "The Discovery". Beautiful song about a man discovering a guitar (I think)
Welp, guess I didn't get my deposit in fast enough and now I'm out of a spot. FUCKING PISSED is an understatement.
Just got home from a 14 hour drive. Was in FL this week, which is why I forgot to check my emails. Just clarifying, I'm not pissed at JJ, not at all. I'm pissed at myself for dropping the biggest goddamn ball of the year. And the mf year just started lol.
But 2 benevolent Pinsiders have reached out with very joyful news!
THAT IS WHY I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!
Im in the "I like the premium cab art the best" camp. But for a band this important to me, the LE is mandatory. Hope shit works out. Congrats to you die hards that are overjoyed today!
You guys got me seriously considering a pro. I'm a used premium guy but the pro here checks all the boxes. And the translite kicks ass.
Honestly can't remember the last reveal where all 3 versions looked so b'dass, and were so well received.
Quoted from noob-a-tron:Been delivering GNR everywhere and i ask people what they want in Australia next and answer is always Godzilla and Toy Story. I mention Rush and always same blank stare.
AND THAT'S WHY NEW ZEALAND WILL ALWAYS BE SUPERIOR
Quoted from jid:But you are also most likely to be homeless when you break up with your GF.
With heartfelt fondness,
- a bass player
JAJAJAJA
Quoted from indypinhead:I'm hoping you land a Rush LE Gryszzz
Then, maybe I can invite myself over to play a few games.....LOL
Here's to wishing you luck neighbor....
Just stay tf off my couch.
o-dave-chappelle-prince-facebook (resized).jpgBefore JJ texted me today, I was in with a Pinsider who was just going to charge me retail, but now I don't have to drive 4 hours to pick it up.
There ARE good people here still.
Quoted from Bwheels:Confession time. Sometimes people make bad choices and it’s time to make it right. I bought a second LE thinking I was going to flip it and make some quick cash. I guess I got caught up in the moment. After the dust settled and people who are bigger fans than I weren’t able to get one I thought about how I would feel if my dream pin was bought up and flipped. I took my posting down and have a guy who wants to buy my game for exactly what I paid which was msrp plus stupid CO sales tax.
Apologies to the good pinball lovers. I love this hobby and although it’s getting out of hand with prices, I shouldn’t be part of the problem.
My bad and lesson learned
❤️❤️❤️
You're a good man Charlie Brown.
We remember shit like this.
I've heard that the European market is a little soft on this and more machines might stay here. So all hope is not lost, if you missed one.
Cliffy will be overwhelmed with this one. Good for him
Guess I'll just throw some mylar down till I get one from him.
Quoted from Apollo18:This game looks fantastic.
It’s killing me I couldn’t land an LE.
Keep calling around. Some dudes are cancelling their LE and going premium. That's how I got mine.
I actually like the premium art the best, but art doesn't get played lol
Quoted from Gryszzz:I'll be draining balls left and right
Well that didn't come out right...
Quoted from Multiball33:Heard the band was very involved, unlike LZ.
Quoted from Apollo18:I have said this is an Excellent Pro.
But I have always wanted the LE,
Tho I recognize there are die hard fans who likely deserve it more than I do.
I had doubts just as anyone would
However, this is a Pin I would more than happily pay and buy LE blind unseen. As I would have with Maiden before.
I will be getting the premium.
And I contacted my distributor about this pin more than a year ago, with follow up emails along the way.
Just clarifying.
Right after the reveal us when people start opting out or switching models. Keep calling around man...esp the little dealers in the middle of nowhere.
I'll keep my eyes out for ya man.
BACK TO THE FRONT as Jimmy would say.
Flip flopping on YYZ and In the End to YYZ and ANTHEM.
Perfect pinball music.
My wishlist for added tracks changes daily lol.
Today it's YYZ and Bastille Day.
Wait. Is Bastille Day on there? Can't remember now.
Quoted from onemilemore:Bastille Day is in
Thank you. After I typed that, I thought it might be. GREAT NEWS!
Yeah I don't like selling machines. They're like my kids lol. But something had to go, FT drew the shortest straw. I mean, none of you guys would keep FT over MET Monsters I'm sure...right?
Does anyone else think FT is similar to Taxi? Always wanted a Taxi....hope to pick one up in the next few years.
Bring on RUSH!
Quoted from DRDAVE:Peart described the Starman in an interview with Creem magazine: The man holding his hands up against the red star is the abstract man against the masses. The red star symbolizes any collectivist mentality.
Smart man that Peart was. =)
❤️
Quoted from ibrewtiny:Nope, I'd sell MET before a FT. And I don't find Taxi to be anything like FT!
Hey thanks 1st post guy. Was just wondering how you felt about this.
Forgot I owned Roll the Bones on cd lol.
The first 3 tracks are great. Then it starts to drift a little for me.
Been listening to Roll the Bones (the track) over and over. The rap at the end hurts my ears. Rush was still flourishing when rap was born, and I think this was their shitty 91 take on it.
Song still rules.
Quoted from skink91:Jack, relax… get busy with the facts…
Whoa....
Totally digging Counterparts!
I do recognize Nobody's Hero now. I remember thinking how freakin progressive those lyrics were back then.
Animate is a helluva an opener.
Alex always had such a superb tone, but it really jumps out on Counterparts.
Freakin lovin these 1st 5 tracks.
Quoted from WeirPinball:That's not too long - may have to break my vow and buy a NIB for the personal collection.
WE KNEW YOU'D BE BACK!
They always come back...
Quoted from PsychoPsonic:I guess we've established that Animate would work great in the game...
Maybe put it behind a flipper code as a mini-mode challenge like Top of the Charts on LZ. The dev team could take virtual bows with little animated visual personal easter eggs among the band footage on the display? I dunno...
Hmm, rules... The band footage display is divided jigsaw-like, with a few (color coded?) major areas devoted to sections of the dev team, each with a few shots/jigsaw pieces that represent dev team members/sub-groups.
Hit shots to "unlock" the jigsaw pieces of the display, making them go from sepia-toned static to color animated. Combos animate more display pieces quicker; draining or a period without hitting shots causes pieces of the display to turn back to static (un-animated).
Score more based on how many dev team puzzle pieces are animating at any one time. Mode ends when player drains/misses shots so all the display's dev team puzzle pieces turn un-animated, or song ends?
You might be slightly overthinking this Billy.
BUT I LIKE IT
Quoted from Rarehero:If you have Expression Lighting, replacing songs is going to be weird. Those light shows are synced & choreographed to the music. Swapping out the song will result in an audio/visual mismatch.
Yeah, good point. Prob just leave it alone, and hope for bonus tracks at some point.
Poll needs added:
Who else has woke up humming/singing Roll the Bones for two fuckin weeks straight?
I don't even like the whole song.
But the 1st two minutes rule lol.
This stupid rap is actually growing on me
EXCORCIST
Wtb craigslist
Can honestly say that even 30 years ago, the Trees became my favorite and it's never left it's #1 spot.
1st album is what I was listening to at 15 years old. We all had that cool next door neighbor with 15" Cerwin Vegas right?
Quoted from PsychoPsonic:[quoted image]
Holy shit! Did you go specifically for Rush or you live round the corner?
Caress of Steel, full album on YouTube top comment:
I decided a long time ago: every Rush album is my favorite
All this talk about Animate here I forgot that
A Passage to Bangkok
is THE GREATEST TRACK EVER WRITTEN AND I MEAN EVER jajaja
My latest track obsession:
Between Sun and Moon
CRIKEY!! What an amazing song!
The 1st five tracks on this album rule so hard I really haven't even gotten to side B yet ha.
Can't believe I never picked up this album until recently....shame!
Quoted from Vino:Gryszzz you find your LE yet?
May have missed it. Good luck man
Yeah Buddy! JJ came through for me. Now I just have to sell a couple more organs and hope the stitches heal before delivery
When they announced this pin I went to my record store and bought (almost) all of their Rush.
I looked at Counterparts, didn't recognize any tracks, and LEFT IT THERE!!
On my second visit last week, it was still there, so, why not?!
Holy shit talk about correcting a mf mistake!
First 5 tracks are SO GODDAMN GOOD WOW!
Pearts drums and esp Geddy's bassline on Animate.
The dual hammer on chorus riffs on Stick it Out by Geddy and Alex...s
Geddy's vocal harmonies on the chorus of Between Sun and Moon might be some of his finest ever.
Truly blown away by this album. That I passed on the first time.
*SLAPS SELF*
In 93 I was a stoned out 19 yr old punk that listened to too much Grateful Dead and Slayer.
Still have no idea how I completely slept on that masterpiece.
Please don't kick me outta this group lol but confession: I've never heard Snakes and Arrows.
Guessing; that's another bad decision that needs corrected? On it.
Today's track obsession:
Dreamline
A lyrical masterpiece that has been haunting me lately.
With the loss of Lyman and my buddy Al recently, the chorus has been all too relevant.
My favorite lyrics were always Subdivisions, but I think Dreamline has just surpassed that
We are young
Wandering the face of the earth
Wondering what our dreams might be worth
Learning that we're only immortal
For a limited time
I'm not crying you're crying
Ok. After 39 consecutive Dreamline listens, decided that Subdivisions are still my favorite lyrics.
But, I'm "hearing" a couple different covers of Dreamline....
Wondering if anyone has ever done a slow, melancholy (maybe piano?) dirge. Would suit the lyrics perfectly.
I can also hear a razor sharp black metal take. Geddy's keyboard riffs lend themselves very well to ominous, Celtic Frost style horns. Would be an insane cover.
Not a big black metal guy but the more I think about it, a black metal Rush tribute band needs to absolutely be a thing.
Quoted from Rarehero:For years Lyman was on my ass to listen to some of the later Rush albums that I kept procrastinating about - so, today I FINALLY started on Clockwork Angels. I’m 9 songs in, and to be honest, it’s kind of forgettable. Kinda mellow actually. I mean, it’s fine - I just haven’t heard a really addictive tune yet like the Rush songs I already know and love.
Wish I woulda known he was such a huge fan the couple times we had beers together. We would've talked for hours.
Quoted from shlt_thunder:don’t know if it makes a difference but it was a breakfast pizza.
WELL HELL YES IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE
Did we just become best friends?
Today's track obsession:
The Camera Eye
Reminds me of a ride through the country in a red barchetta, the twists and turns.
Happy for ya DP dudes. What a great freakin machine. Have yet to play a premium, but do have a pro locally. My favorite location game.
Lol. I'm from the Westside, but I live in Bloomington now.
Will never claim anything but Indy.
The Cade has one.
Doesn't Tsppers have one though? Gotta be one in Indy somewhere. I don't get up there much.
Not to derail any further, apologies. Just come down to B town and we'll have some beers and play DP all night buddy!
Probably gonna have an unboxing party in March(?) when my LE gets here. You are definitely invited bud.
You ALL are invited.
Shit I might get my buddies to resurrect their b'dass Rush tribute band for it.
Do you vets think putting some mylar over the Cliffy will help with that? Before playing of course. Seeing quite a few bent Cliffs on that scoop. Just wondering if some mylar might help?
Never heard Headlong Flight until today. It's no Animate but a good rocking tune that should translate well to pinball. Love Alex's guitar tone and Geddy's bass line in it.
Headlong Flight is good, but man, I keep going back to The Camera Eye. Wasn't too familiar with that track until recently. My 26th listen today might change that ha.
Quoted from mc8045:It's a problem with the flaps inside the scoop so not sure that will help. I've already had to pull off ours on location and re bend it so there was pressure on the playfield on the sides inside the scoop, 2 days later it's back to the same spot, off center shots just to the right of the scoop have forced balls down on the corner of the fake cheap cliffy and bent the inside back to the middle on that side. We contacted our distributor and they said stern is aware of the issue and working on a fix. We are having bad consistency issues with balls coming out of the scoop. It doesn't mater what I set the strength to there is lots of room in the trough for balls to move around before they make there way out of the scoop the coil is at the back of the trough. Weird design with no lock there on the pro. Maybe I'll mess with it more on Monday the next time I'm in but I can have it shoot 15 balls right to the right flipper play a few games on it think it's good Then a few hours later get a text saying people are complaining it's throwing balls right down the middle again. I'm assuming they may code in a ballsave time out of the scoop. ????
This should be a key post.
Thanks for letting us know.
CHEERS BROUGHAM
Quoted from Vino:I don’t know about the rest of you, but reading Gryszzz rediscovery-discovery RUSH journey is pretty damn infectious!!
Man I have like a 5 cd order with my local record store. None have come in in a month. Always go local first but might have to disccogs Clockwork Angels now
To answer your question I ordered all the albums after Counterparts. On cd though.
No big deal. I waited 17 years for a new Carcass album. I'm patient.
Quoted from Rarehero:I’ve got Mylar on the entrances & exit of my Tron…granted it also has a Mantis inner protector. ~10 years later, it’s fine.
I wonder if the scoop is the same size as any other Borg games and if any existing Mantises will fit.
[quoted image]
Was just wondering this myself.
Cliffy bout to be swamped.
Whoa. That Mantis inner protector is bad af. I've never seen that. Was that a hard install it just snap it on like Cliffys?
Jonboy there's a couple sheep in your backyard that are having wet dreams about you right now.
Don't let them be lonely tonight.
I have stoked the fire on the big steel wheels
Steer the airship right across the stars
I learned to fight, I learned to love, I learned to feel
Oh I wish that I could live it all again
Fuck's sake those just might be my favorite Rush lyrics ever.
Geddy getting old and hating it like all of us
Quoted from jonboy71:Pretty sure if you knew me, there would be zero questioning my Rush fan cred.
I wasn't questioning your "cred". I was a little buzzed and was shitty that you were questioning mine, since I'm the only one in thus thread that admitted to saying "Purt" all my life.
I've known many, many Rush fans and honestly, I've never heard it pronounced correctly by any of them.
I got shitty. Today's a new day. No big deal. Sorry for the pretty lame insult. I can do much better ha.
Thanks bud. No big deal.
You guys that own both Polk and Klipsch subs...is the Klipsch THAT much better? It's a sub, so it's not like there's any higher frequencies being heard. Really leaning towards a Klipsch but trying to justify the price.
Oh yeah...not looking for wireless. I remember seeing this now. Naw man, I'm plugged in all the way fuck WiFi
Man PERT's drums on Animate seem like a simple 4 on the floor almost but his CYMBAL WORK...SHITTT. So subtle and genius. Wish it was up more in the mix.
Seems like a really good deal man, no doubt. I just don't like wireless.
Hardwired...like Jimmy and Kirk lol
Know anywhere besides Walmart that's doing this price?
I fuckin despise Walmart and would rather not.
Today's NON track obsession:
The Big Money
Just how in the fuck did this dog of a song make it into this pin?
Not many Rush tracks I can say I don't like. Congrats Big Money.
I've always severely disliked keyboards. Prob why I never ventured far into later Rush. I can tolerate them these days, esp considering Geddy is playing them.
So the Big Money made it but no Animate?!
C'mon man!
Quoted from Schwaggs:Thank goodness or all the songs would sound the same!
Love The Big Money. You gotta listen to it with a full range system with a capable sub. It really kicks. Plus just listen to Neil's drumming. He is working it!
I'm a 2 channel kinda guy. Two 15" Cerwin Vegas run through a CV amp and 90's Denon receiver.
Always a chance it will grow on me, but I doubt it ha.
Quoted from John-Floyd:Perhaps just checking a box to make sure something from that era is represented? I’m with ya tho - far better tunes than that but it is what it is. With 16 tunes I really can’t complain
Spot on. No complaints here...happy as a pig in shit to get mine. Just not a fan of that track.
I'll give it a spin in the movie room with the 7.1 like Schwaggs suggested.
My wording was maybe a little stronger than necessary. Imagine that.
Just listened again concentrating on the bass line and goddamnit, it is pretty freakin amazing.
For the first time in my life, I was wrong.
The Big Money...Dude. That bassline absolutely fuckin rules.
Quoted from Kkoss24:Yeah 1985 was a very forgettable year in music
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
I was 11 in 85. FM radio was a different beast back then. Not sure if I'm proud or ashamed that I know every single word to 95% of those songs ha.
I remember sitting next to my radio for the Top 9 at 9, fingers ready to hit record on that cassette. Man I loved early Madonna ha
80s radio was the last and might I add GREATEST decade of FM radio rock. It was fucking glorious. No internet, no screens. Everybody racing to answer the home phone. So glad I grew up in that decade.
Quoted from indypinhead:I remember, as a teen, waiting up late to listen to the Dr. Demento radio show. I'd have my portable radio on the table, and my cassette recorder sitting in front of of it recording the show.
A year ago, someone on ebay had four auctions going. Each auction was for 5 seven inch reel to reel tapes, (all new Maxell tapes that had only been recorded on once, all in mint condition). All of these tapes were the Dr. Demento show, recorded in 1978.
I bought all 20 tapes.....Brough back a bunch of memories.[quoted image]
Wow, just WOW. AGAIN.
We need to get together soon bub. I'm dying to hear the reel to reel.
Technically it an be argued that the 90s were the last bastion of FM radio rock, and that's actually true.
But wasn't the same.
Quoted from Clytor:I still dig some of those early Madonna records.
Not ashamed to admit I've always liked her. Her music still holds up, always will.
Quoted from nwpinball:I'm mostly a punk and metal fan these days, but every road trip I take starts out with Madonna's "Holiday" and the whole Immaculate Collection CD. I love a couple pop divas.
Gary Holt is a huge Madonna fan ha. If he'll admit it, so will I.
Quoted from indypinhead:I can't say anything....
I like the Carpenters.....
Talk about lame..
Haha totally
You can change it if you want
I don't care it's up to you
I can live with it if you can
Suit yourself!
Quoted from nwpinball:I'm mostly a punk and metal fan these days, but every road trip I take starts out with Madonna's "Holiday" and the whole Immaculate Collection CD. I love a couple pop divas.
Ya mean this one lol
20220204_190109 (resized).jpgI bought that cd just to hear Rush cover my favorite Who song. Not as good as Roger and co, but damn fine effort.
Quoted from Kkoss24:Since we’re being honest ,my cousin Lisa took me to a Wham/GoGos concert at poplar creek when I was about 12 I think .I loved Kathy Valentine .Geddy and Kathy were most likely the reasons I played bass guitar Wham sucked I was just there for the Go Go’s .
HOW DARE YOU SIR
Wham was awesome
More OT, but honestly, at this point, it seems like a bunch of friends sitting around the campfire bullshitting which is a great thing. Club thread for "serious business" lol.
Since you jerks got me listenin to Madonna for 3 days straight, I've been wondering...
Why no Madonna pin yet?
She certainly has an iron clad catalogue for it.
Think it would be a hit, pun intended.
I mean, the female demographic is stronger than ever.
And I'm proof that not just ladies love Madonna.
Think it would be a hot seller, esp on the coasts.
However, at these prices, I can see a lot of people not buying. We're in a weird time frame. Every theme from this point forward has to be 1000% rock solid cause failure at these price points is not an option for the manufacturers. And this why it will never get made.
Still think it's a great idea.
Quoted from Methos:Hand Over Fist is my favorite track on that album.
Quoted from Methos:Hand Over Fist is my favorite track on that album.
Methos, buddy, I was absolutely not making fun of you with that post. I've never heard the Rush song, but anytime I hear the phrase "hand over fist" I immediately think of THIS guy: Hanover Fist. From Heavy Metal, 1981.
Just clarifying.
hanover_fist_by_manoflamancha_d4zrhqh-pre (resized).jpg
Just wanna thank everyone in this thread. You guys finally convinced me the 1st thing that needs done: all the Rush songs pulled out and replaced with Madonna.
Thanks guys!
Who can help me with this?
Surprise! Back on topic...lol.
Making my list for the arrival. Been awhile since I did nib.
So far I have:
--Klipsch sub coming
--mylar
--B/W corner leg brackets
Confession: I've never put that shooter lane protection on any of my pins. But for $10, I'm thinking I will for Rush. Does anyone use these religiously? Yeah I know to dial back the coil a little.
What else am I missing?
Also realized I don't think I've heard ANY tracks off of Presto. Trying to mitigate that this evening.
Quoted from beelzeboob:Better album than I expected. Roll the Bones was even better. Then Counterparts was painful to get through after Animate. Yes...I'm currently up to Test for Echo and then have 3 more left. And then I'm officially sick of Rush after 19 albums straight and I'm heading right back to Yacht Rock 311.
HE ESCAPED THE IRON MAIDEN
HOW DASTARDLY
Actually it was a TERRIBLE fuckin movie that wasted 2 great leads in Penn and Walken wtf
Great song tried to salvage it
Well you guys changed my mind about The Big Money, and Headlong Flight still gets played 4-5 times a day here. But can anyone honestly say they're happy about Far Cry making the cut over other tracks that are more universally loved?
Will admit I'm new on Far Cry. Maybe it will grow on me, but I think I'll always be like IT SHOULDA BEEN YYZ
Quoted from Reality_Studio:I didn't even know the song Far Cry, but I mostly know their early stuff, kinda stopped listening to them after Roll The Bones. Was the same when I had the AC/DC pin, have never heard War Machine also because I had long since stopped listening to them.
Lol. ACDC has THE longest song in rock history, clocking in at 17 albums hahaha.
War Machine rocks though. One of the 2 I left in, all the rest switched out to Bon Scott tracks.
I'm in the same boat. If you haven't heard Counterparts though, you should check into that asap! GREAT album!
