I am really excited to play this game. Big time fan.
With that said..... the person who designed the playfield art needs to be taken outside and flogged. Is the artist the same guy who designed the Pontiac Aztek? Or maybe the art department was short-staffed and they hired the guy who used to airbrush the Sizzler ride at the '81 Iowa State Fair? Why are Alex and Neil circa mid 70's while Geddy is mid 2000's with the chin goatee? I just find it incredible that the artwork could (and should) have been so cool. With Rush, there were so many options available.

As far as songs, we could argue all day about which songs should have made the list. As we know, the Rush sound changed throughout the years. I just thank god that the art department had zero say in which songs to put in the game. If that were the case, Tai Shan, would have been the featured song.

RUSH flasher cap covers inspired from Neil Peart's steampunk drums

Super cool! Good stuff!

This young dude seems to nail Lifeson's "Kid Gloves" guitar solo

Rush was good up to Moving Pictures and then they lost me.

Presume 2012 is the final wizard mode?

This would be cool! I am a huge John Cusack fan!

I am here because I like Rush and I like pinball. I like the first eight albums. With that said, I understand that this is simply my opinion. I respect your opinion if you feel "Hold your Fire" is their finest work and masterpiece.

Regarding mods. Does anybody out there have experience creating a ramp mod? My idea is to remove one of the ramps and make it more of a ladder, i.e. Jacob's Ladder. Thinking of simply painting it. Any recs on accomplishing this or do you think I would just end up destroying a perfectly working ramp?

#2744 2 years ago
Quoted from PinMonk:

I'd just print a ladder on vinyl. It's been done on other pins (Iron Maiden comes to mind) very effectively and is reversible.
Here's the maiden one Tilt did:

Thanks so much for the link.

When will be the Rush pin be rated on the top 100? This being such a niche pin, how do you think that will affect it's value over time? Personally, I think this particular pin (if it is a fun pin to play, unlike Zep) will be the next Gamestop stock.

Pinside top 100 is just a localized game to some people. It’s meaningless</blockquote

Respectfully disagree. The top 100 is no different than Becketts ratings for baseball cards.

Too bad there is not a synthesizer keyboard that could be used as a bash toy. I think Neil would have appreciated that. (sorry post Moving Pictures era fans)

Quoted from PinPickle:

It has arrived but it’s on its way out… have a trade that I couldn’t resist.

Did you trade it for that orange porsche in the background?

Quoted from PinPickle:

Won’t be an LE but a Prem will do the trick for this title.

But your premium will not be signed by Mr. Stern!
