Quoted from Thermionic:Larry, you're a bastard!!
OK, time to get the thread refocused on Rush (via a Primus performance ):

That said, I've been a Primus fan since buying "Sailing the Seas of Cheese" in '91.
Truth be told though, Jaco Pastorius edged them both. Just listen to Pat Metheny's debut album "Bright Size Life", Jaco's first solo album, or "Heavy Weather" from the following year with Weather Report.
Dirty pool, my man! Jaco wasn’t from this earth
Quoted from acedanger:Ummm ya I can't wait
Just for the uninitiated, this is not a real performance
EDIT: I see this was pointed out 10 times already LOL
Quoted from Methos:Mine as well. It's a truly perfect song. Just how the chorus re-arranges itself back into the main riff with Neil's drums is perfection.
One of the most complicated songs in terms of the drum parts - EVERY section is unique, nothing repeats at all. But overall easier to play than it sounds. Tom Sawyer, forget it. Every single guy needs to be spot on the whole time
