It’s going to be very interesting .We just got a Met Prem and might be throwing down blind .I said “I’ve learned my lesson” but it’s fing pinball go LARGE or go home !
Quoted from AUKraut:It can't get here soon enough...my topper is almost finished!!!
[quoted image]
[quoted image]
That’s a fing masterpiece buddy!
Quoted from Gryszzz:Buddy Guy was THE ultimate performer!
Buddy Guys Legends in Chicago is a must visit when here .You never know who’s going to show up .
Quoted from Gryszzz:I mean, Working Man HAS to be on there.
They played Working Man when Borg hit the stage with a nice bottle of tequila at Expo .Drinks with Jack gotta love it
The start of Tom Sawyer needs to be the plunge ,only the beginning then you need to earn the whole song to be played .
Quoted from cooked71:Anyone got any rumors of layout/features? I’ve heard Borg, 3 flippers, 15 songs. Anything else?
15 songs would be very healthy .
I would like to see the whole area between the flippers covered with art of the top view of Neils massive set with RGB inserts that light up to the drum beat when each piece is struck .
Quoted from Schwaggs:Love it, I’m in!
I whipped up this Spotify playlist with the songs in the teaser. My distributor says formal reveal next Tuesday.
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0bIztM4A4EtdT6tPrHAzcb?si=7PtlFeR9Qq2Ij7Xs5u2QDA
Nice !Thanks for sharing
I always thought if you had enough songs ,let the player select from say 10 to play to .The rest need to be earned while playing .
Quoted from WODKA:Great idea with the new insider connected thing
So exited to see this pin .What was Borgs latest ? We just purchased a Met Prem and flipping love it !
Quoted from Vino:Good taste.
Rush next to MET = a sub in the middle.
I really like the sound of that.
I was reading on a pinball sound system you can split and have 5 pins on it .I’ll look for it and post .
Quoted from Anony:I'm on the fence about this. I've had my maiden pin for a few months and never accessed Run to the hills or 2 minutes to midnight mode and I only got cyborg multiball once.
If I had no access to those songs it would be a bit of a bummer. Then again it would be that much more satisfying when I finally get there
Trust me ,I’m in the same boat but it would bring the satisfaction level through the roof when achieved .I do avoid those songs .Never heard RttH yet
Quoted from Yelobird:Am I more impressed that GRzzz is a Rush fan or that there are still record stores to visit? Can’t say I could find one if someone asked.
Looks like Karma records is a long time staple in Indy .I am putting this on my list next time I take the ride south on 65.I had Kroozin Music growing up just east of 79th and Pulaski on the south side .These we’re the spots back in the day .I remember a day there with my Dad .I was about 10 years old and asked him to buy rolling papers for me .He said “Why the hell do you want with these ?” My response ….”they look perfect for passing notes at school .” Thus was the berth of the post-it.Too bad I didn’t act on it

Got these at Landlocked Music.
I miss those places .The music playing ,looking through the concert T rack ,top 10 shelf , and always very unique people working .
Quoted from Gryszzz:Was able to order every cd up to Signals on the Rush Remasters
Brand new Rush cd for $6.50?
I'LL TAKE EM ALL.
No kiddin .I’m making it a point to look through my old vinyl collection .I have them boxed up .I’m not a hoarder at all but I keep everything I think will hold value .I just box it up and hide in the attic so my wife doesn’t get any crazy ideas .
Quoted from Psw757:In the teaser vid at the end it shows them at a show, looks awfully similar to the live rio footage. Lights, layout etc...
Be cool to get live tracks for a tour mode.
This is very interesting .I try not to get images in my head with releases but I keep thinking of lower third art being a top view of Niels set and it lights up as played .A man can dream .
Quoted from pinballjah:Who wants to be the first to get the Rush pin club thread started? How about "Welcome to the Temple of Syrinx...Official Rush Club"
I’ll hold off and take the 4th thread
Was it always like this with the long wait in between teaser and sneak a peek ? Is this how the pinball gods created FOMO?
Quoted from ejg10532626:My dream lineup.
Xanadu
Witch Hunt
Analog Kid
Subdivisions
Camera Eye
Big Money
The Body Electric
Distant Early Warning
Show Don't Tell
Dreamline
Time Stand Still
Marathon
New World Man
We all know it will be the usual radio tracks (Tom Sawyer, Spirit of Radio, Limelight, Closer to the Heart, etc..), but if Rush is involved, there will be at least 1 or 2 cool songs.
I have looked forward to this for a very long time.
Now, if only Gilmour and Waters would agree and play ball someday.
The song list is out
Billy joined DLR solo along with Steve Vai and Greg Bissonette .That was a great short run .Eat Em and Smile was a gem IMO.
Quoted from Yelobird:Would agree if it was a bash toy or specific ramp but it’s simple lighting. As a music pin I feel it would compliment well personally
I agree 100% and am praying it’s incorporated in Rush .Expression lighting .LZ’s light show is second to one IMO.
Quoted from Yelobird:Would agree if it was a bash toy or specific ramp but it’s simple lighting. As a music pin I feel it would compliment well personally
Would Stern have the patent on expression lighting ? Meaning if someone works for Stern and comes up with the idea at work ,is it Sterns or the persons ? Just wondering .
Quoted from kool1:Another sign... Lol
[quoted image]
I just hope that doesn’t mean prems are 12k
I’m one of the few that loved my LZprem .I can honestly say it was one of the best shooting games I’ve ever played .That being said my kids even told me they were bored because there was “nothing to do “. Basically the lack of mechs .Now compare with GZ .How can you charge the same for each title ? Did the license cost that much more for LZ that SR was handcuffed ? I’m just not understanding how each title costs the same .I would think prices would need to be adjusted for what you get .I just hope Rush is the complete package .I can see them wanting nothing less than what they put out in they’re careers .I really don’t think they’re money grabbers in that they offered as much as they could to put out a product worthy of the RUSH tag .
Quoted from beelzeboob:Should've kept the machine and sold the kids to science.
LMFAO ! Actually traded plus cash for this so was the right move .I will have one back sooner than later
6B3C838D-09E3-44FD-BE2E-8EB12A62294E (resized).jpegQuoted from epeabs:17 songs crammed into a pinball machine. Obviously you can't do full cuts of Cygnus or 2112. There is no set list that would please any one of us because the band spans many eras and has so many awesome songs. But really, whom of us should complain if we are Rush fans. Did any of us actually think this game would ever come to fruition . I started a post on Pinside 9 years ago that I would love to see a Rush pinball machine. Never, ever thinking that that would really occur. I think we are all blessed. Just my two cents.
Your right .RUSH always have been looked over in mainstream universe .I really think this pin will be more a story than a concert .That’s who they are and that’s what we’ll get
Quoted from DRDAVE:As long as Subdivisions is one of the tunes I'll be on the way to happy with this title. =)
I have a good feeling you’ll be happy
Quoted from DRDAVE:As long as Subdivisions is one of the tunes I'll be on the way to happy with this title. =)
Post 747 …17 songs is very generous .We all have favorites missing but nothing to complain about at all .
Quoted from cdnpinbacon:There is another thread Motley Crue vs Rush. The poll indicates Motely Crue as the Champion. Let us light our torches and burn this wickedness!
Oh Cmon , I want both !
Quoted from cdnpinbacon:There is another thread Motley Crue vs Rush. The poll indicates Motely Crue as the Champion. Let us light our torches and burn this wickedness!
Your a pinhead , nothing wrong with being greedy
Quoted from Quicksilver1:Excellent list. As a Rush fan, narrowing the cut to 17 is tough. Here are some bangers I would love added to the list.
Entre Nous
Circumstances
2112: Overture
Afterimage
War Paint
2112 made the cut .Everyone knows the song list correct ?
Quoted from Jamesays:Wow,after 2 hours on the phone with Sterns design team I am sorry to report there will be a 2 month delay in shipping Rush machines.I have convinced them to remove the Naked man on a stick and the backglass they were going to reuse from Zeppelin.Your welcome.
Ones a frontal and the other is from behind .Either way thanks
Quoted from PinBalt:Also - there must be more songs to the game if you enter the Time Machine to travel to decades . There are NO 90s songs in that 17 song list. 70s , 80s, and 2000s but NO 90s. That would be weird. I think 3 will show up - Roll the Bones, Animate and Driven.
Interesting .
Tasks to open time machine .Need to finish 70s mode so 80s happens .Finish 80s mode for 90s to happen etc. All ending with unlocking never before seen footage of R40 tour with a farewell to Neil at the end .
You won’t hear me say I’ve been in The Rush fan club since birth .I was big into them real early when I was young .Working Man was the first guitar riff I learned, and I know my cousin took me to the Moving Pictures tour when I was about 12.I seen them twice in my early 20s (early 90s) and regretfully never again since .That being said I know enough to say if the band was involved with John , nobody will be disappointed .Nobody ,and you all know that !
Quoted from Nevus:Has this been shared here?
I’m sure most of us fans have see it. I love his enthusiasm!
That’s Awesome !
It’s upon us .Most titles ,we have a general idea of what we’re going to see ,but not this one .Just like a new Rush album ,it will be nothing like the last .Just keep in mind these are true masters of they’re craft .Rush does not settle for mediocracy. They always strive for supremency
and I expect nothing less in these 3 pinball machines .
Quoted from PinMonk:Meh. Fixed it on LZ, can fix it on Rush if need be.
[quoted image]
Yeahhhhhhh Pin Monk !
Quoted from PinMonk:The Premium with some colored powdercoating options...
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
Every one of those colors look good to me .Thanks PinMonk
Quoted from gouveia:Thank you so much Ed for the labor of love!!! Alex told me he and Ged were doing callouts, but I didn’t know you were at the board! I couldn’t have asked for more.
So Mr Gouveia ,are we going to see a mod or two for Rush ?
Quoted from MapleSyrup:You can hear all about it on the Stern Insider Podcast I did with Nate. The list was chosen by Ged, Al and myself. It was a SUPER fun process. I asked them to come up with 20 BANGERS that would work well for Pinball. When we compared our lists, we each had FIFTEEN of the same songs chosen! So, I knew that was the Golden list, then we had a shootout to determine what else would make it in the game between our remaining songs. It was surreal!
Awesome job!! Can’t wait until it’s arrival
Quoted from PinMonk:I was kind of unexpectedly partial to the icy gray.
I like that the best with some snow -white airbrushed in to match the cab.
Quoted from Gryszzz:My wife just now: "NO MORE RUSH!"
Me:[quoted image]
Get yourself one of these to wear around the house Gryszzz
157538DA-C844-4862-9977-354818C7F2A5 (resized).pngQuoted from marksf123:The pinball news article said this...
There is a fixed ramp leading into the Time Machine. On the upper two models the ramp is motorised with an additional target below which can be accessed when the ramp is lowered.
https://www.pinballnews.com/site/2022/01/04/rush-pinball-revealed/
Nice find .Could it be a stainless steel push button device somewhat like you would see on a hand drier ?
I had a fellow Hoosier surprise me with a generous deal for a LE .He said he was “paying it forward”.I’ve lived my life that way and will continue doing the same .Ive met so many solid people in this hobby the last 2 years it’s an incredible thing .I am outside my body right now looking down on a very lucky man !! Thank You Bouche03, I’ll never forget this
Quoted from Yelobird:Congrats Kklos24 glad to see you found one!
Thanks my friend .I’m besides myself
Quoted from PinMonk:I've never seen hoser spelled like that.
Lmao !! Hoosier ,Hoser ….We’re all 1
Quoted from 80sMan:I'm almost certain it's a wider stand up target with an aluminum covered outside shell that functions just like a regular target to trigger the ramp.. someone can easily make a rectangular cushioned decal for it with any image they'd like if desired.
Quoted from pinballjah:New couch pillows while I wait for the game to arrive

Are these fron rockabilia ?[quoted image][quoted image]
Anyone old enough to remember these ? I’m on the hunt for these were ,they were very unique back in the late 70s- early 80s.

Judas priest tshirt optional.
Lmao
Quoted from Guinnesstime:Guys, don't get too upset, but I don't think Lady Evil is her real name.
Nooooooooooooo
Quoted from gouveia:I thought so! My band and I were offstage right thinking how much pressure that drummer must’ve been feeling with Neil sitting out in the balcony. But he nailed the parts! I actually played later that night with Des McAnuff and Pete Townshend. Not much public video of it, but the press got a very cool pinball shot of me and Pete.
[quoted image]
Nice pic buddy !
Quoted from Hoteldrummer:Got my LE paid for and now the wait! THIS is the game that will be bolted to the floor for sure. SO happy to hear that the sales numbers for this title have soared and have completely squashed all the haters predictions that it would tank. What kind of topper do you think we will see?
The topper will be interesting .
I think most that seen the stream would agree it will shoot very well .As far as the code goes ,I’m expecting nothing less than what Rush is , very intricate with a dash of cheese
Quoted from Hayfarmer:Geez , buzzkill
Well how’s the game going Hayfarmer ? Too busy to chat with us lmao .
Quoted from Kkoss24:Well how’s the game going Hayfarmer ? Too busy to chat with us lmao .
You have very good taste in pins buddy .So you have not been playing the Rush pro ?
With music pins I like to play to songs that are not tied to modes .I want to earn my favorite songs .This is a “play better “ strategy .
Quoted from NightTrain:I just got word that LE's are on the line end of next week!
Oh man that is good news !!!!
Quoted from Lateralus:Yeah I have a feeling that will be the case for me too at first lol. Thanks for sharing your experience and feedback, man!
I'm looking forward to my LE as well, but my buddy and I are actually going to take it to my uncle's house for a while once it arrives. He got me into Rush when I was young, he has seen Rush 30+ times and always wears a Rush shirt everytime you see him, but he recently suffered multiple strokes and thought he would love this pin while he recovers.
He has to have physical therapy several times a week, on medication the rest of his life, and is on medical leave from work, but we didn't lose him, so thought this would be great for him to enjoy while going through this. My nurse friend said it would be good for his coordination recovery too.
He totally flipped out when I told him, and we're really close, so it's a great feeling. He's been watching videos constantly because he is so excited lol. Maybe he'll give it back to me someday lol. Can't wait to play it though!
Great thing your doing for him !
The topper will be a dozen men in they’re 50’s dressed in Rush Tshirts (hopefully not soccer mom jeans) air drumming the best they can to whichever song is being played .Would be the best selling topper ever ! 2k ,count me in
Quoted from Gryszzz:Today's NON track obsession:
The Big Money
Just how in the fuck did this dog of a song make it into this pin?
Not many Rush tracks I can say I don't like. Congrats Big Money.
Yeah 1985 was a very forgettable year in music
07E7443B-A337-49FE-931F-962CD679632F (resized).png08841429-1F64-42D6-8019-4EEE62FF4B8E (resized).png7CB8DAC2-4097-4C61-A1E6-7D27D06D56DB (resized).pngQuoted from Gryszzz:I was 11 in 85. FM radio was a different beast back then. Not sure if I'm proud or ashamed that I know every single word to 95% of those songs ha.
Since we’re being honest ,my cousin Lisa took me to a Wham/GoGos concert at poplar creek when I was about 12 I think .I loved Kathy Valentine .Geddy and Kathy were most likely the reasons I played bass guitar Wham sucked I was just there for the Go Go’s .
Quoted from bouche03:Just got a call from my distrib that an LE I paid for has shipped. I’m in NE Indiana so should be pretty quick from Chicago area. Likely have it in a couple days. This one is spoken for! Stinks to not be able to play this one
We can open it up by you and play it .It’s the least I can do for the favor you did me
Quoted from bouche03:Well the LE is coming tomorrow! So hard to not want to open it and play it
Since I won’t be there until the weekend please go ahead and let er rip ! Just keep the packing material ,a roll of plastic wrap will be just as good as the strap .It’s all coming off to transport in my basement anyway
Quoted from Gryszzz:Really happy for ya bud! Stoked that that worked out!
Thanks Gryszzz!!! Hope is real my friend
